Calcutta16 Worthing - Worthing - Photo album

We stopped here when we came to Worthing from Southampton to pick up a purchase. We had the midweek deal. It was so good we came back twice more just for the food. Worth the drive. Rah rah ghosht is fantastic.
We had an impromptu visit to Calcutta 16 on Saturday night. After visiting the pub next door we headed over the road to the curry house. This was our first visit. We entered and warmly welcomed. Drinks order taken very swiftly and arrived in a flash. The menu has all the classic with a few of their
The food here is really good, I had a dosa and it was delicious. The only negative is we were forgotten about, someone who came in after us got served before us for just popadoms. I ended up complaining but still not the best service.
This is a gem. We have found that in the last 6 months or so, most Indian takeaways have raised their prices dramatically. One example of this is many places charging over £3 for a plain naan. Not so Calcutta 16! Wonderfully reasonable prices, whilst remaining a high quality service. Friendly, humbl

Takeaway amazing value for money! Good on them for not hiking their prices but keeping the same quality of food at affordable prices.

No photos sadly as we were so hungry! But the food was to die for! The meat was succulent and tender and the flavours were as aromatic as they were tasty! Best curry we've had for a while. You won't regret the gamble!
Really nice. Plentiful portions. Lots of choices on the midweek set menu. Staff were attentive but not in your face. Will definitely go back again soon.

Excellent food from an interesting menu. A great atmosphere in the restaurant and we were served by very friendly and easy-going staff. They even gave me a free beer as it was my birthday. Highly recommended.
Best Indian meal we have had in a long time. This restaurant was walking distance from our hotel - The Windsor - in Worthing. The food was amazing. My husband loved the masala dosa - you have to try this - it was huge!. My favourite was the prawn purée. The curries were very tasty as were the
