Absolutely the best Indian food in Worthing we’ve had so far. We went midweek and found that all the food was cooked fresh, unlike some restaurants where we know we have had one or two dishes that have been warmed up. It doesn't come swimming in grease, as we have found in some places, and they only use the minimal amount of vegetable oil in their cooking. There are some unique dishes we had never seen before like the chicken kebab marinated in spinach which is bright green, and has a unique, delicious flavour. Alcohol is very reasonably priced. It is a welcoming family-run restaurant, and the owner is clearly very proud of the quality of his food. We highly recommend this restaurant and urge you to give it a try.
Very good authentic food! Staff welcoming and helpful which made whole experience better than simply going to a restaurant. Excellent value, for not much money. On ‘Banquet night’ we had a starter, main, rice and naan for under £9! As well as a reasonably priced bottle of house wine. The menu has lots of choice and great selection of speciality dishes. Already planning our next visit!
I decided to give this place a whirl once more, after a 3 year hiatus. I remember now why I don't order from here more often. While the service is excellent, the food is generally lacklustre. I selected a prawn puree to start (which should come with a bhuna-style sauce) and coupled it with some Bombay Aloo. There was no discernible taste difference between the dishes. The chicken tikka in my main course was similarly bland and uninteresting. A mediocre but inoffensive meal. They need to try a touch MORE spice.
Superb quality..large portions..buttered chicken is excellent..friendly polite service throughout.
I eat here all the time love the food.
