After being let down with a venue for a birthday party last minute, John Selden pub stepped in and saved the day. Excellent venue and great staff.

Nice enthusiastic local pub with seating indoors and outdoors and a nice food menu with a lot to choose from. Bartenders could be a bit friendlier though

Only been for the function room for slimming world. Leaving a good review to get my status up 🤣 but also.....its a nice function room and would consider using it should I ever have an occasion to use one, and enough friends to attend!

Absolutely stunning roast pork on a Sunday, as always. This is becoming a regular thing now. Top marks.

A good choice of beers, not just endless exotic foreign lager brands which are brewed in Northampton anyway. The Abbott ale I had was just right. The food was good pub grub, with some choices you don't often see these days like liver and bacon and steak and kidney pud, which I had. Really enjoyed it. Nice staff and not exorbitant prices. Looking forward to going back soon for a Pizza.

An absolute gem! Probably the best kept beer in the south. My goodness!! Food is usually very good too. Go for the fish and chips! We found the locals are very friendly and a LOT of fun! Thank you all!!
