As an Executive chef in London it is important to relax. For me there is nothing better than walks along our great coast. A few years back I found this diamond. The food is great, the people are friendly & the area is magnificent. Definitely worth a visit.

Great Special "award winning" Slow Steak Pie. Packed with tender tasty steak, good portion of puff pastry lid, champ, peas and just right portion of onion gravy.

I love the Bluebird, love the views, the food, the staff, the name! And the fact that our doggy friends are allowed, although I wouldn't take ours inside, he's a bit big and likes to mouth off whenever he can, he prefers to sit outside looking innocent, cadging the odd uneaten sausage!

Very nice, great coffee, delicious fish and chips and a lovely setting on the beach in Ferring. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Pop on down, meet friends, have lunch then sit in the beach listening to the waves, perfect 🌊🍻🍲 😎

Car park squishy (especially when you're trying to park a huge truck) service and food is second to none. Well worth booking a table at the weekend. Go for the breakfast and your tummy will be so thankful!

If the queue is big, don't panic as the team are flippin efficient and rattle through taking orders! The car park is a little bit of a bun fight (in a nice way!), so if you can, bring a motorbike... 🤣🌞🏍

Delicious jacket potato 🥔 - rarely have them and the chicken and bacon filling just appealed to me. The wife had a club sandwiche and that didn't disappoint either. Only downer were the wasps annoying you but the food was great!

Great cappuccino and wonderful bacon sandwich. Ideal after a walk along the beach with the dogs. Busy place, get here early in order to get a parking space in the free car park! Reserve a table of you want to find indoors

Well priced and good quality fry up, likely the best in Worthing area. The ability to book a table made this an easy go to while planning the rest of our day. Beautifully presented this was a great start to the day.

Short stop for coffee and cake, will definitely eat a full meal next time judging by the quality of food ordered by other customers.

Absolute gem of a place! Was recommended by someone I know, and while walking along the beach several other dog owners also mentioned The Bluebird so we had to go! Had a lovely lunch served up in quick time, plus a ‘doggy sausage’ for my pooch. Nice to see somewhere not just dog friendly, but fully on board with making our four legged friends welcome. Cant wait to come back!

Nice place, right on the (stony) beach. Small menu with big food! The fish and chips has probably one if the best battered fish that I have eaten! Best to call and book table in advance in busy periods. But there is seating elsewhere outside.

A really nice café, and the staff were lovely too. My wife cannot have gluten, and she was pleased with what the cafe could offer. A wide variety of good food, and considering it's the only food outlet at Ferring beach (that I could see), it's great they clearly care enough to offer a high quality of food and service.

Really fast service. Food great. Staff friendly. Location brilliant. Only 1 issue. Everytime I go there ALL the seats indoors are reserved with no one sitting on the tables. They were empty for nearly an hour, weird? What's that all about? I sat outside and batted the wasps away. What happens in the winter with sitting indoors? Maybe the Bluebird is a victim of its own success?

Came across this place as I went with a friend to take dogs for a walk on the beach. It's right on the beach, with seats outside and big inside windows to give an unobstructed sea view. Booking is recommended for inside but you can just turn up for one of the many outside seats. They have parasols to protect from the sun (?) or the showers. Book at payment desk inside and before long, your food will be brought out by one of the many attentive and helpful staff, calling out your name. If you're from the North, the prices may come as a shock but, in reality, merely reflect the higher cost of living that has recently plagued us and I would regard them as midway for the area. In any case, the food is well cooked and tasty, with vegan and vegetarian options available. You don't need to eat big - seaside snacks, ice creams and drinks are available. Dogs are welcome and plentiful. Yes, this is a pleasant place to stop for a while.

Lovely beach cafe in a great location, broad selection on the menu plus a takeaway kiosk window at the back and a covered area selling ice creams and pizzas. There can be a wait to order at busy times but food comes out quickly. Dog friendly. Some vegetarian items on the menu - vegan options less obvious but just ask.

This is another place I was looking forward to visiting as friends recommended it and because of the reviews. I was impressed. Top marks for food, price, service and staff. I cannot wait to return. Definitely one of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time. Thank you.
