We stayed overnight on a Saturday. Our welcome was exceptional. In fact, all staff were excellent 👏 We could return at any time in the evening, which was helpful. The breakfast was very tasty with a good choice of options
A brilliant stay over, Sarah the owner, gave me a warm welcome and showed me around. The pub was friendly and well priced, with cold glasses for your beer. The facilities were spot on. Cheryl who sets up the breakfast is really chipper and gave great customer service. The Full English she prepared w
Very lovely pub / hotel set in a friendly village with a shop opposite. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff plus a lovely full English breakfast thrown in for the price. I had a poor phone signal so the free customer wifi was essential for me to use my phone. I would definitely use again.
Friendly staff and fairly clean. The bed was a bit wonky and the room has seen its better days. But it was a OK experience. While we was there a couple of local lads was entertaining in the pub. For us foreigners this was really nice to experience. The food was nice. Not the richest in flavour.
Visiting from NZ and discovered the beautiful village of Findon. Fantastic stay in the 16th century Village House. Lovely rooms, clean and comfortable. Great service and friendly atmosphere. Loads to see and do. Check out the 11 century church or walk to Cissbury Ring. Explore the many bridle ways o

A very nice place for vacation, nice receptionist, nice breakfast, nice price, nice room, there isn't too much you can ask for. It has a nice location, take about 30 minutes or even faster if you take number 1 bus from Gun inn to Worthing. In a word, if you want a nice hotel to rest, this is the pla
We visited the pub and had dinner. This time I had the Shawarma - very good. Then finished up with sticky toffee pudding and double cream - very very good!
Saturday night. Pre booked table for 4. All that was on menu was burgers and pizzas. Place was nearly empty. Shame, as their resteraunt food used to be really good ie; reasonably extensive menu. Apparently now, no separate resteraunt (menu). Had we known the very limited menu in advance, we wouldn't
Everything you could hope for (and even a bit more) in an overnight stay at a reasonably priced, pleasantly located 16th Century village inn. We had the sense that staff and management here were making a fine effort to do everything well – and were succeeding.
