Wow! Wow! We stopped a guy with a box of fish and chips on Worthing Pier. He told us Blue Ocean are the best in town.. we went there and yes the fish was perfectly battered and the fish meat was a brilliant white, just could not be fresher. The chips were amazing. Good friendly service too! Often people say best ever, but in this case it’s true. Thank you Blue Ocean

visited here today for the first time after reading other reviews. Excellant, we had fish and chips and a sausage for the dog. Food was freshly cooked and hot. Very good portion sizes, food tasted lovely. Fish flaky and batter crisp. Chips were lovely too, not greasy at all. Great value for money. Would highly recommend and will visit again. Staff friendly and shop clean.
I ordered a medium cod and chips, and it was excellent! Straight out of the fryer - chips were lovely and crisp and fish was tasty too. Highly recommended!

Visited this establishment on Saturday as I was attending a football match between Worthing and Slough Town. Always look for a chippy when visiting the seaside. I liked the service very much. Very friendly and welcoming. I ordered Medium Cod, medium chips and mushy peas. Total cost was £10.10 which I thought was pretty good. The restaurant on the pier wanted £14.99 just for cod and chips!! The chips were well cooked, and the medium cod looked like a large, the batter was perfectly cooked, nice and crispy, so good portions for your money. I would highly recommend a visit if you visit Worthing. It’s on the corner just opposite the pier.

Hot fresh food, kind staff, crispy batter, perfect crispy chips. Fish tasted amazing, clean, ocean view, quick service, beautiful presentation, lots of options, good portion size. Overall an amazing place to go for fish and chips, I will be back.
Got takeaway fish and cod bites, expecting 6 bite sized nuggets, but got 6 freshly battered and cooked medium sized filets of cod and delicious, non-greasy chips. I've had my fair share of seaside fish and chips and this one ranks among the best!

Trust me I've eaten a lot of fish & chips over the years and this place is truly exceptional. Perfectly cooked cod (just starting to flake), light crispy batter (not clawing or greasy) and chips that are crisp on the outside but fluffy in the middle.
Great value too. I would have added a picture but couldn't stop for the deliciousness. Enjoy!
Absolutely tremendous bit of cod and chips, lovely size portions for small, and a perfect cup of tea. Just over a tenner. Sat at table outside. Very clean, and great staff. I highly recommend it for your day out, or stay, in Worthing
Amazing service, the staff are all so friendly and attentive, really nice décor, amazing menu, even if you not a fish person there are choices. Best fish and chips we've had! And great price!
I can't comment on the majority of the items on the menu, having only had a portion of chips. But from those, I can say the positive reputation of this place is still warranted. The chips were fresh, crispy and just right.
