Popped in for dinner. Fairly early so there were loads of tables free. Menu offers a great choice with plenty to offer what ever your taste. Staff were great and on hand to explain the menu if you weren’t familiar with Greek food beyond a moussaka for example. What we had was superb. Great flavour and wonderfully cooked and the portions are very generous. You won’t leave wanting more than I can assure you.

Pleasantly surprised by the great food. Only had lunch but there were multiple vegan options to choose from and our meals were great and very generously sized. Aircon could be more powerful but it was still a lot cooler tham outside.

Fantastic Greek food, freshly cooked, the service was good. The actual restaurant is a large open room, it was noisy when we went and we were there when it was nearly empty (mostly the extraction/air conditioning noise), the seats and tables are metal and not very comfy... Maybe get takeaway.

Stopped by on weekday lunch with my sister. It was a sunny day so we sat outside, which was lovely. Very busy for midweek lunch, lovely to see actually. It's not a huge menu anyway but a few things were unavailable we were told by the waitress once we had sat down. Food was pretty good and the portions are huge.

A quick lunch out to The Fat Greek Taverna was definitely a good choice! 👌 I went for the kids, that’s right KIDS menu called the little fatties and ordered the fish and chips for £6, was definitely a good buy as I wouldn’t be able to eat more than that! Really lovely staff and as it was sunny we were able to sit outside 👌

The Fat Greek is amazing. We've been quite a few times and have never been disappointed. The food is superb, and you definitely get value for money with the portion sizes. Now that Portland road has been redeveloped, it's lovely to have the choice of outdoor seating too, especially as they have a set of doors that open straight out to the street and extend the restaurant. There's a good choice of drinks on the menu too. And the kids menu, while small in choice is still enough to choose from. Our 3 year old had the fish fingers, which turned out to be 3 small fillets of fish fried in batter. The portion size was probably enough for 2 kids or 1 adult. All in all, we love it, excellent food guaranteed every time and not over priced either. We went on Thursday and for 7 of us (6 adults and 1 child) the bill came to £140, which included mains for everyone ,2 starters to share for the table and 1-2 drinks each. We will be back again for sure.
