Gorgeous impromptu breakfast date with the girls. Food was awesome and the weather was on our side. The setting was divine. The service was on point. Portions delish. Mimosas yum. You may pay a little more but was worth the splurge. NO GO AND ENJOY!!

I had a beautiful date at Coal & Cotton yesterday which was a Saturday afternoon. I had the goats cheese and red onion stonebaked pizza with a balsamic glaze and the dough was absolutely delicious! The hand cut chips were absolutely spot-on too - crispy on the outside and lovely and soft on the inside. For dessert I had the Bailey's chocolate cake and this also did not disappoint. My sister had the king prawn linguine which she loved and the hazelnut brownie which I also got to sample which was delicious. A lot of the time when you go out for a meal the brownies are really bland (I am a baker ha) but this brownie was perfect with good chunks of hazelnut inside. My brother also had a pizza but I can't remember which one and he had the school cake for dessert which he enjoyed (although, as a baker, the cake looked a bit dry to me 🙈). Would not at all hesitate to go again and I am already trying to get something in the diary to go again next month! My only gripe is the car park could definitely do with more spaces.

Great evening out for dinner. Portions sizes are huge. We had food from the non gluten menu although it states they strongly advise Celiacs to be careful i can say as I’m Celiac the staff were very helpful and understandable and the meal was gluten free. The food was full of flavour. Atmosphere is cosy. The outdoor area is very inviting too

Lovely place to visit, we had a short snack, would have eaten more but far too warm inside! May be more air conditioning would make the place perfect!

I’m from London, was staying near by, yummy gin cocktail, posh burger and Manchester crème brûlée. Will definitely eat there again when next in Manchester

We decided to go out of town, and as recommended we tried Coal & Cotton in Boothstown. What a lovely place, the service was spot on, the Posh burger was outstanding!! We finished off there listening to the singer for a while, overall a great night spent.

Only been two times but I already love this place, the staff are amazing and so friendly and the service is unbelievable. The food and the drinks are unreal.. I’ve even been to one of the poshest steakhouses in town and coal and cottons steak beats it by miles. I’ll definitely be back soon and probably many more times after that’s for sure.
