Had a lovely meal today. The lamb shank I had was falling off the bone and all the veg was cooked well, not overdone at all. My husband had the gammon and he enjoyed that too. It's not cheap, especially the drinks but I can't fault the food we had.
Brilliant find! Stopped for Sunday lunch, sat in the sun, and admired the view. Excellent service, great food.... well presented and reasonably priced. We'll be visiting again soon 👍🏻🙂
This pub has had more than its share of bad reviews over the years but can honestly say there is a big improvement since our last visit. Three meals all very good served quickly no problems keep it up. Shame beer prices are so high.
Absolutely loved my experience at Mooring! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff were incredibly friendly, making sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. The food was exceptional—especially the fish and chips, which were perfectly crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. A wide variety of craft beers and classic pub drinks rounded out a fantastic evening. Whether you're looking for a cozy spot for a date night or a lively venue to catch up with friends, Mooring delivers on all fronts. Highly recommend!
Have called in a few times over the last few weeks when on dog walks. Each time have had the lunch time offer of sandwich, chips and a drink. Obviously enjoy it as wouldn't keep going. Always had the BBQ chicken sandwich, previously on white crusty bread, more recently since the menu change on focaccia. Love how now there are blankets available for when you sit outside, definitely a positive when it's getting cooler.
Lovely pub when sunny. Food is great. Service a bit off, food was delivered to table but then I had to go inside for sauce, cutlery etc but I was there alone so leaving food unattended outside was not ideal.
Lovely pub with great views. Very helpful staff answering questions and sorting things out for me. Think her name is Rebecca. Have been here many times and always enjoyed my time here. Staff are lovely. Great views of the passing barges on the canal. Good food and drinks. Definitely recommend and will be returning.
Went here for a spot of lunch, the sun was out so we sat by the canal in lovely surroundings. Food was great, staff were we're pleasant. All in all a big thumbs-up from me

Really enjoyed it, quick service considering it was really busy - good pub grub at a decent price drinks are abit expensive.
