So The Barton Arms has re-opened after the latest refurbishment. Outside a fresh coat of paint in subtle calming colours, nothing gaudy here. Inside sees more paint, carpet and revitalised hard flooring. All very nice without making too much of a statement that sometimes divides opinion.
For the price point the food is OK, no Michelin Stars but good for a bite after work or on a weekend.
Absolutely fantastic, the lady behind the bar is utterly wonderful she’s so friendly and lovely. Food fantastic, great value. All the staff where so lovely to our little dog and the dog area is lovely, water bowls, matts and dog treats , our new favourite local.
I would recommend this place for - family, groups and a more mature audience. Disabled friendly. Dog friendly. Quiet atmosphere during lunch time.
It's in a good location with onsite parking.
The menu is British/ pub grub.
Staff were good with allergies.
Good verity of drinks.
Nice location when the sun is out.
Not a bad place, the nicer of the chain pubs in the area. Their craft beer selection isn't good though, not the place to go if you're looking for more modern beer flavours. The food was nice, the staff friendly and helpful and they have an indoor dog friendly seating area
The food was all very delicious. We had starters, mains, and desserts. The only thing I would say is that the lamb koftas (starter) I had were quite small for the price. Other than this, it was all reasonably priced and good value for money.
Had a lovely crispy chilli chicken chiabatta for lunch. Really nice atmosphere and the staff were really friendly. Also loved that they have a special 'doggie menu' just inside the door with things like sausage or chicken for 99p.
Had one of the buffet options for our daughters first Holy Communion.. Fantastic.. Thank you guys 😊👌🏻
Lovely place to meet friends, staff lovely and efficient. All 5 of our group really enjoyed our meals, and we all had different dishes, so that's saying something. Nice surroundings and decor. Highly recommend a visit here.
1st time we've visited since its been refurbished. Really impressed. Nice surroundings, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and the food was great. Will definitely visit again in the near future.
Wednesday is Curry Night.
OK it's not authentic Indian food, you wouldn't be expecting that.
But for an early family tea in a relaxed atmosphere, it was just what we was looking for.
Super friendly helpful staff!
We had a lovely time, decor was lovely and the staff were really helpful and friendly.
Food came quickly and was delicious! It wasn't rowdy so was relaxing .
We had a lovely family meal at the Barton Arms last night, food was cooked perfectly.
Lovely atmosphere and nice staff.
Looking forward to our next visit.
Lovely family reunion in clean, friendly and spacious surroundings..3rd visit, varied menu to suite all each time..food tastey. Well cooked and presented..service admirable, and pleasant.a local and amiable place...far removed from the former StableFold Wood factory and timber sales, that I used to pass as a 5year old on my way to the original StMarks School...now the site of Gun Club..and the dinner centre now a private house .aside the steps leading up from Worsley Court House...the Hanging Yard, still to the rear....so different from 71 years ago, when trolley 🚎 buses were at the junction of now Mway.roundabout...thank you Barton Arms.👏👌
