Very nice place for a few friends to catch up. Background music is quiet enough to hold a conversation. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The food arrived at the same time and was all nice and hot. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
The food was superb in the evening with an amazing atmosphere. The service is outstanding. They lose a star o breakfast because a very hard poached (boiled)eggs. But in very other aspects the place is nice and very well recommended.
Fantastic food and atmosphere, modern style and feel to the place. The staff were a bit stretched but they were very helpful and friendly and very good.

Right folks, where do I start? Walked into to the venue, very nice , warm , homely and inviting. The staff welcomed us, a table for 2 requested, the table was great, comfortable seats, prime position for people watching, the table clean , not sticky like some eateries. Staff happy to explain the menus and give recommendations. The food arrived, presentation looked good, the steak pie was full to the brim with steak, lovely. The gravy, the best I've had ever! A bold statement, true though. Meaty, thick and with bits, like gravy should be made. Can this review get any better? Yes it can. The chips, chunky chips, cooked in a way that turned them into crispy, fluffy and tasted like proper roasted potatoes. Amazing. Myself and my wife have rated this meal, this experience as the best we've had since we've known each other, we've just celebrated 17 years of marriage. Well done The Millhouse, see you soon.

Excellent service, had been out for day and called in on the offchance they could fit me in. Not a problem the young lady showed me to a table and took my drink order, a few mins later somebody was back with my drink and took my order. I asked for chicken caesar salad, couldn't have been more than ten mins and they were back with it. Generous portion, hot chicken, plenty of dressing and parmesan. Really enjoyed it.
Had the 3 for £18 as lunchtime snack (3 persons) - thought might be small Tapas style but large soup, belly-pork and clams/salmon/squid dishes. The fish dish was seasoned really well with lots of mussels and class and prawns. Amazing taste and value.

Its the first time we have been back to this place in 3 year due to covid as it being refurbished and soon as walked through the door it was just wow, the decor gave a relax feel the food was amazing and service was fast the staff and service was spot on. Will definitely be returning and I highly recommend others to visit and try there cocktails especially the Banana Colada
Just been to the Millhouse for some breakfast and OH MY DAYS! The food was AMAZING! The sausages were big enough to make 4 smaller sausages with, the bacon was nice and thick also not too salty, lovely black pudding and the tomatoes were still on the vine (a first for me) and they were delicious as was everything else. Really good value for money, £10 for a full English (which was substantial, the Mrs couldn't finish hers and I left half a sausage) with unlimited tea or coffee. The service was great and quick and the establishment itself is very nice, traditional with a modern twist. We will definitely be coming here more regularly.
We chose the Millhouse for a family event (19 of us in total) ; we had a separate private area which worked really well for a large party. The food was excellent and at a decent price too; in addition, the service and attention to detail was superb from all the team. So pleased we chose the Millhouse... Give it a go, you won't regret it!
The food here is absolutely delicious with plenty of choice. The service was good despite it being extremely busy. It was however extremely noisy and we really struggled to hear each other
Beautiful pub/restaurant, looks beautiful from the outside and even better inside. Really love this place the food is always good but was exceptional today, I had the special chicken & chorizo linguine... amazing and for dessert the peanut butter stack..Wow it was big enough for the two of us 😁
Amazing food, really pleasant and helpful staff! Couldn't ask for me. Really good prices. There was a problem with one desert and they sorted it straight away and came back with extras! Highly recommended.

Had an amazing meal here! Rang to book a table about 90 minutes before we wanted to eat, they said they were full but could squeeze us in. Table we were given was in a corner which appeared to be a walk through, lots of people walking past, it was also very high up. The meal itself was lovely! Portions are plentiful. Staff were very helpful, pleasant and polite. We asked if we could go have a drink outside between main course and dessert and then ordered dessert outside (wasn't as busy by this time). The waitress we had dealt with made a point of coming to tell us that they stop serving food at 9pm so if we wanted dessert we had to order it now. I had chocolate cheesecake (after asking which cheesecake was available waitress didn't inform me it had nuts in the salted caramel sauce) my partner had key lime pie. Both were again lovely (apart from the nuts). When we received our bill for deserts and drinks there were 2 drinks on it we hadn't ordered. Staff quickly sorted this, apologised and refunded us no problem. We are not local to the area and asked for a telephone number to order a taxi. We were given 3 numbers and on 2nd attempt booked one. Very impressed all in all and would highly recommend. If ever we are in the area again we will definitely go back.
Lovely food with great choices - delicious fish dishes too and massive portions . We had to wait a little while for our main course as they were very busy but I can't fault the staff as they were really helpful 😊 A definite recommendation! 👍
Great place. Had a lovely meal here the other day and the portion sizes were good. They have a nice range of different soft drinks too. We will be returning.
