Half Moon - Worksop - Photo album

Always loved coming to The Half Moon, but yesterday's sunday roast wasn't the best. 11/06/2023, the mash potato was Smash and wasn't mixed properly it still.had powder in the middle, I had the bottom end of a stalk for both cauliflower and broccoli and the carrots were cold, not enough gravy as this
The food was lovely. Staff a bit few and far between but lovely when you got one. Prices average but two for £14 a bargain. Bit lacking in vegetarian food.
the special lunch £12 for two meals was only we ordered. the meals were just ok. you can not expect too much on £6 per meal. the chocolate junkyard was delicious but just too small portion.
Such a lovely place and so very clean everywhere. The staff were very friendly & welcoming especially to my little dog, oh yes he came in too made very welcome. We had been gardening all day and hadn't eaten, the food was fabulous, hot! I even had a dessert, something I very rarely do syrup sponge
We rang up last moment, and they were able to fit 8 of us in. You don't need to book, but it did get busy quickly. We ordered several meals, including 3 Sunday dinners, and I must say they were lovely and very filling. The pub itself is beautiful inside, and there is a play area outside for children
The best steak pie I’ve had in a long time! My husband had the mixed grill which thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely be returning!
Lovely meal, friendly staff and great location 👌
Very happy. Service 1st rate. Food excellent. Well cooked steak and chicken. Clean and friendly. Will definitely return if possible
Meal for two. Hoisin beef thoroughly enjoyed and looked great. My cannelloni looked sorry for itself but thankfully tasted better than it looked. Great garlic bread and fresh side salad.
Went here a few times now had steak pie with vegetables & chips with a pint of Amstel & cheese and bacon burger with a pint of Guinness staff were nice service was good place was nice & clean would go back
Not many gluten free options. Staff not all knowledgeable. Main course very good, hoisin steak, New York cheesecake needs improvement. Other people's desserts were better. Other main courses were good too.
Sunday Lunch was great. Very busy, carvery was a bit cold but menu for was hot and ask was very tasty. Sat outside in the beer garden
Nice pub with a good beer garden and plenty of parking. Food is average prices but nice and tasty. Might have got 5 stars if had a selection of real ales but had to settle with Guinness.
