Cozy atmosphere, nice service and very good food. The portions are very large and enough for a grown man and all this at an affordable price. Would definitely come here again.

Decided to eat out as it was such a lovely evening and really made the right choice going to the Wild Duck.
Food was excellent and reasonably priced the garlic mushrooms and sizzling chicken in sweet chilli sauce was an excellent choice. Food looked so good forgot to take a photo.

Brilliant food. First class staff. No complaints only praise. Went here a couple of times whilst staying nearby on holiday. Dog friendly which is essential as you can't leave dogs alone in the holiday let. It could do with a bit of a tart up on the outside as kerb appeal isn't the best and gives you
Food was really good and the young staff were very friendly and helpful. We were there as a party of 7 including two vegetarians. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The stake and ale pie and burger were given special praise. Outside there is plenty of parking and inside it is pleasant if a little dated. B
Booked a table for 3 on a works trip and all the food was very nice with great service from 2 ladies who was busy but polite. Mixed grill was a very large meal and struggled to eat it all. Would highly recommend.
The waiting on staff gi above and beyond excellent customer service team, food excellent, only downfall a crying child behind us spoiled our evening
Found this pub by chance as so many in area shut on a Tuesday….. fab good pub three course lunch for an amazing £15.85 and the two young ladies waiting tables offered friendly and excellent service….. only one criticism if you have any spare cash in a difficult hospitality world use it on the ladies
Sunday dinner was beautiful but the gravy was watery.
The table was very sticky too.

Friendly service, good menu with plenty of choice & reasonable cost. Had the surf & turf tonight which was yummy. Asked for my steak to be cooked medium which a lot of pubs don't get right but this was spot on. Had the chocolate brownie & it was delicious 😋

Lovely place to eat. Parking Available, staff are friendly and the food was good - classic pub food. We booked about an hour in advance on a Monday.
Cannot fault the food or the atmosphere. Small place, intimate dining. You csn actually chat without being drowned out by music.
