Excellent service and so relaxing best indian in cumbria would highly recommend eating here we were made very welcome and food is outstanding will be defiantly eating here again thanks to all the staff for making us so welcome x

I went on Fri night with my husband for our anniversary. We don't get out together much, so there's always pressure on us making a good choice of restaurant. Masala Corner didn't disappoint! First and foremost, the decor is stunning. I loved the real wood, sculptured tables and high backed chairs. Lighting and wall hangings were really complimentary to the atmosphere. The food was superb and service was friendly and attentive. I choose a desi karahi dish, and it was rather hotter than I'm used to. I'll be choosing a milder dish in future ;)

Absolutely gorgeous food and massive portions. The naan bread is that big it can be shared between two! The garlic chilli chicken was fantastic as was the variety of pickles which we could keep with our main, some places don't offer this option! Will deffinately return regularly.

I've eaten in curry houses all over the country.. Dopiasa (onion curry) onenof my favourite dishes.... the Masala Corner Dopiasa is one of the best Ive tasted.
Portion sizes are also very very good.

Very friendly staff who went out of their way too make us exactly what we wanted... Nothing was a problem.... The food was delicious, portions were just right..... Definitely recommend a visit.... Beautifully decorated with a calm atmosphere....
Went with my eldest last night and the staff were fantastic. Advised on food that he might like to try (and he loved the choices), gave us sufficient service that we felt well cared for but not so much that we felt hurried. He can't wait to go again and this from a child who can't usually cope with new places. If there was a higher score, you would get it!
Went to masala corner last night for a meal got the mixed masala it was absolutely lovely can't wait to go back even brought some home and my other half loved it too.
This was not our first visit. It's so good we go back whenever we get the chance. My son took his dad there as his late Fathers Day present and was full of praise when he got back. The food is brilliant and reasonably priced. Large portions too, so don't fool your self into ordering too much, though if you do, they will happily box it to go. The service is quick. Staff friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to help you have an enjoyable experience. Decor unique. Location great with a nearby car park. Situated just off the town centre. What more could we ask for!
I regularly eat out at lots of top restaurants and like to think I know good food when I see it......I have to say this place is definitely up there with the best. Classy and friendly atmosphere. Quick service even though it was really busy. We Tried the chicken and lamb curry's with garlic naan. Absolutely spot on. Will be going back next time I'm in workington.

I visited Masala Corner for the first time at around an hour before closing on a Saturday night. As soon as I walked in I was given a very warm welcome & felt instantly relaxed. The staff are very attentive, genuinely friendly & clearly enjoy working here. The decor & ambience is attractive & relaxing. I had a mixed vegetable starter followed by a lamb madras with coconut rice & garlic nan. To sum it up in a few words, absolutely delicious, full of clever flavour, tasting as good as it looked. This has to be one of the best indian dishes that I have experienced. I had a brief chat with the chef who is clearly proud and passionate about what he does. I really enjoyed my time here and now that I am local, I will be a regular here. Thank you for a great night.

Very impressed with this little gem in a place where I wouldn't expect to find such authentic Pakistani/Indian cuisine that certainly is as good as (if not better) than the famous curry houses of Manchester. Thank you for such a wonderful meal and excellent service, will come back next time when we return to the Lakes!

Had a really nice meal here, we were part of a large group and service was still fast and the food was really nice. The only issue we had at the time was the place was extremely hot and verging on uncomfortable. But all in all would go again.

Can't fault the place at all the chef is a talented cook, who obviously has respect for the food he's working with and the staff are professional, well mannerd and can't do enough to help, the curry's aren't like your standard indian where they all taste the same with different levels of heat! This place stands out you can actually taste the depth of flavour in each dish well done guys keep up the good work, you've gained a customer for life
First time there on saturday. I was impressed by the unique decor , and we were greated pleasently by the manager. We were given excellent service all evening, and all staff were very polite and helpfull. The food was amazing . We will be making this our local.
Had the most amazing time at this place when attending a party here. The food and the hospitality was superb. Will definitely be coming again, no doubt.
