First visit today after planning on popping in many times we've passed. Our little toddler loved the play area and spent plenty of time exploring whilst we had cake and a drink. The cake selection was ample without being over the top with good size portions. The milkshake are very good size and highly recommended! Service was very friendly and welcoming. We will be returning to try out the hot food.

I loved this place. I really wanted a snack and a coffee and to use the loo. Food and coffee were excellent and reasonably priced for the location. The place is clean and tidy and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend

This tea room is very good for children ,they have this place gone the extra mile for children which I have not seen it before which I liked. We been there with my Daughter, granddaughter and great grandchildren. We found it was just off the high street and the shambles which in middle of the streets. It's very safe for children. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Thank you from Graham and Valerie

Happy to find Auntie Em's Tearoom this afternoon. Auntie Em is very welcoming . Had a Lovely pot of Earl Grey and Delicious Cake at very reasonable prices. Noticed there's a great space upstairs for a party of at least 30 - or could be used to promote a service or product whilst enjoying a cup of coffee or tea, plus eating lots of cake..

My friends and I have decided to stop using the big chain coffee shops because the service is horrendous and the sites are unclean. Meanwhile there are plenty of small businesses who work tirelessly to create a lovely, clean and welcoming environment, who give exceptional customer service and make the loveliest Chai Lattes and homemade scones. Auntie Ems is a wonderful place and we stumbled upon it whilst walking to a different destination. We shall return and we shall bring friends!

Lovely place, plenty of toys for the kids to play with. Only issue is bring a baby carrier instead of pram if possible as there's not a lot of space for prams. Really reasonably priced though and the cakes are delicious!

Not realising it was intended for families, we still enjoyed the atmosphere and the friendliness. Wonderful cake and kind service, given that we were exhausted from travelling. If you have young children it's the perfect place to bring them and meet other parents.

Welcoming staff, simple menu but effective just for a snack. Slightly on the expensive side (£7.95 for a club sandwich). Service was good. Food tasty and sandwich well presented. Curry with Jacket potato was tasty and of sufficient portion size. Clean toilet available. (Do need to ensure soap is available all the time however, only hand sanitiser present when visited).

We planned our visit to this cafe as we’re just shy of an hour away. We wanted somewhere to go as a family, my husband and I work Saturdays and we find we miss out on things like play cafes. So to Come here on a Sunday was a real treat! My 15 month old son loved it! The entire place was clean. The toys, tables, surfaces etc. we had a bite to eat too. I’d say it was a little more expensive than some, but it was really nice so didn’t mind. We ordered a child a lunch box for our son. It would be great to see some fruit in there but it was just right for our lad. Only thing I’d say, is. He had a sandwich made of one slice of bread. Absolutely fine for him as he’s only small, but maybe a slightly older child would benefit from an entire sandwich. None the less it was well received. Staff super friendly. We eagerly await our return and have told friends to go and visit and support this great little place. A wonderful find

Very child friendly cafe with good service and a children's play area. Food good apart from the club sandwich, which was really let down by limp fatty bacon, rather than nice crispy bacon.

Auntie Em's tea room is a wonderful place to go for hot drinks. Child friendly zone with play area means families with children can meet and socialise knowing the children are save and having fun. Also with free wifi and addtional plugs with USB ports. Anyone needing to use a lap top can still work while enjoying refreshments. The tea room feels fresh and comfortable to sit and enjoy some free time. Would recommend.

Best place to go with little ones to play so adults can chat. Food is lovely and staff are so accommodating to babies and children. Breastfeeding friendly which is great. Just wish it was bigger as sometimes it's tough to get a table as it's so popular!
