Went to the harvester yesterday for a Sunday meal. We hadn't booked but we're seated straight away in a lovely window position. Service was excellent and the waiter was very friendly and polite. The food was great, as was the salad & dessert . Overall a very pleasant afternoon in lovely surroundings. Will definitely be going back
Glad i tried to give this Havester a try as live on the other side of the city nearer the Perdys Havester resturant which after the disatrous visit for my birthday inJanuary to which we didnt stay and have a meal after ording drinks , because after placing a food order she came back to tell me ( whose birthday it was ) my meal actually was avalible and hadnt been for months ( so sorry no excuse there)
Waitress a, put me under pressure to hurry up and order something else ! B, on asking about how the steaks are there was rude to me and contined to keep going on + on ! To which i had to ask her to be quite ! I promtly gave her an alternative that i wasnt really fancing to leave us ! We then left the resterant !
The Harvester experiance at the Timberdine Bath road , was excellant from nicer.staff , superer chefs , as the food is better tasting ! The salade bar is stocked with a more variety of foods ! An all round super time was had by all and worth the traffic from one side of the city to this one ! Thankyou
Great food at a reasonable price staff were attentive when you asked them for something and seemed happy doing their job. My kids loved it and we would love to visit again and probably will. I have read some of the reviews on here after my visit and I'm glad I didn't read them before as I probably wouldn't have gone there. How someone can give it a 1 star rating and call the place a "rancid hellhole" and the "atmosphere atrocious" is beyond me. Pay no attention to this and try it for yourself I say. In comparison to the carvery at the ketch this place wins hands down. Highly recommended.
Luvly thanku , very happy & friendly staff was very busy but they had it all under control all the chefs were happy in there work . A luvly sunday feel very full now tho xx

Lovely place service Very good food excellent also garden to relax and finish your drink off it was a summer night and lovely and sunny loved it
It's a great place for a meal and a drink, good value- friendly staff.
Cheap and cheerful and the free salad bar's a bonus. Great to pop into without feeling you've got to dress up to go out for a meal.
The food was okay, nothing special.
I had the so called hot sauce with my half chicken, I really wouldn't call it hot, it was mild at best and there was not enough sauce. The sage and onion chips were just chips, I didn't taste any sage or onions at all. My partner had salmon and dill fish cake, she enjoyed her meal and said it was very filling.
All in all it was a pleasant experience eating her and we would visit again...
Fantastic welcome from Tom on reception. This guy keeps the ship sailing smooth. Seated and served with proficiency. Food on point and great value for money. Had a spot on cooked steak so props to the chefs. Will be returning soon. 👌
Had a meal today at 4pm nice and quiet staff were very friendly and helpful we got our refillable drinks and ordered our food then had the salad cart was a bit empty of things but still enough for us to have, my daughter had the full rack of ribs and I had the pile of bones meal what can I say was really enjoyable very tasty and filling plenty on the plate chips was hot and crispy and tasty. The ribs fall of the bone and tasty too aslo the wings was even better full of flavour, we managed to have room for pudding I wanted the caramel craze but they had no caramel left so went for the rocky horror without the cream on top and got extra ice cream was really nice a great way to finish off a lovely meal
A warm and welcoming place to eat. The service was great - I didn't catch the name of the lovely lady who was training, but she was very friendly. We went for the breakfast service, unfortunately the sausages were burnt, but the rest of the food was good. We especially enjoyed the hash browns!
We had the classic breakfasts.
(2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 Sausages, a large mushroom, tomato, beans, 2 hash browns, 2 toast)
Nicely cooked and presented. (Does come with a tomato but I requested it without) - Nice option of being able to add a 4oz steak for an extra £2.99 (which was cooked nicely & how I asked)
We were seated and served by a nice man called Serafino, who was great and very helpful. Thank you very much 😊
Stopped here on a walk for breakfast. Service was quick and the staff friendly.
They don’t allow dogs inside which is a great shame as this will limit our return. You can sit outside with dogs and thankfully the sun was shining!
We had two coffees and toast for the dog, about £7
Their Christmas Menu is also now out!
Came to the harvester today with my family and sat in the bar watching the football and had a bite to eat.. Emily and toby were great with my two little ones.. Emily recommended the spinach pasta shells and they were delicious! Toby poured my husband one of the ‘best pints’ he’s had for a long time! Thank you guys for making our harvester experience super enjoyable! Will definitely be coming back!
Went for lunch today with my 5 year old, it's her favourite place to go at the moment. She loves the salad bowls! Served by Serafino who is always great and after initially being told ice cream machine was broke and daughter being disappointed he made sure to come and tell us it was fixed and even picked her dessert for her as a surprise.
Service was amazing. Tom our waiter was extremely attentive, courteous, and professional. Nothing was to much trouble and despite him having a LOT of other tables we were never left for long without him popping over to make sure we were OK or take our orders/ refill drinks etc. Our meals were 50/50 a few of us had no complaints and a few had complaints. All in all the prices are reasonable the atmosphere cosy and friendly and the staff are all running around doing everything they can as quickly as they can with a lot more decorum and patience that I could ever muster up. Well done all. 👏
My partner and I had food here this evening, we were very satisfied with our food but the reason for our review is to say how well run and organised Francesca was running the restaurant. It was very busy and she was impeccable at working under pressure and at a fast pace. She was ensuring that all guests were happy and running the team very well. What a woman! Definitely an admirable member of staff.
Olivia was very attentive, a friendly fantastic host! We ordered food and drinks with her and I couldn't believe how fast she brought our drinks to the table, she must have put the order through and immediately went to the bar. Food was exceptional - our second trip here after being disappointed by our local Harvester. Olivia checked everything was ok with our meal, and once we had finished she was quick to remove our plates, offer dessert and bring the receipt and card machine as requested. After Olivia's service where we felt like valuable customers - we will be coming back!
Very good family restaurant! Great food, friendly staff, and amazing salad bar! Highly recommended!
Visited the harvester last week and sat in the bar area. Was served by a really friendly girl named Emily who gave us food recommendations. She was very attentive and could tell she was a very hard working girl constantly pottering around and making conversation! Would definitely visit again Thankyou!
Salad was nice and fresh, the rolls were lovely. There used to be more salad selection, so we were a little disappointed about that. The mixed grill was a little expensive for how small it was, chicken was cooked but well enough amd the steak was overcooked for medium. Tasted nice though. The chips were nice and my husband had a dessert that was very nice too. Overall I'd rate a solid 6.5/10.
Food was very very nice, I loved my mixed grill. The chips were excellent, the meat was perfect and the sauce topped it off. Loved the refillable drinks, very much appreciated that. The salad bar was a nice touch aswell. The chocolate cake was excellent, very very tasty. Unfortunately our nice was somewhat ruined by the shocking arrival of a party, this one old woman whacked my partner with her bag as she walked through, very loud, very inconsiderate of other people, just awful people really. Party's that big should be separate from couples just coming for a quiet meal, left not long after that party arrived, would have stayed longer otherwise.
While travelling down the M5 we were both feeling rather hungry so decided to exit and find somewhere to eat. We were not disappointed, Owen at the bar was very helpful and friendly. Will definitely return next time we are passing.
The food was excellent, the staff were very polite and efficient. I think the only downside was my grandson who is 17 and had ID, wanted a glass of cider. He was denied due to his age. In most eating establishments he would have been allowed one cider as long as he was eating a main meal. After all it was a family outing and his mum (whose 40th it was) had no problem with him having the one.
We felt very welcomed, james was a very polite and friendly waiter who made sure we where happy at all time. The food was lovely, hats off to our chefs Issac, Nick and Roman.
Really surprised how good the food was. Excellent service and we were a party of 15. Served quickly with piping hot food. Like the salad bar and very helpful staff.
