Celebrated my dads 80th Birthday today at 'The Pear Tree' in the 'Orchard Room' he did'nt have a clue was so surprised ..... I cannot Thank all the staff enough, involved from booking to the actual meal, so professional, friendly and welcoming. It was a wonderful memory made for us all, Special Thanks to Isobel & Jo, the events co ordinators, for all their support, friendly staff and welcome greetings on reception and 'Rosie' for looking after us today, through out our meal, to wonderful bar staff and chef/staff, the meal was absolutely gorgeous, all 3 courses were yummy. Definately return and share our experience with our friends.
An absolute find!!! Used to lunch at a nearby garden centre where a jacket potatoes and drink cost c.£8. Here Mon to Fri a 2 course meal £7.50. The food is equally as good as any high end restaurant.
Lovely place our room was very large and everything there that was needed although matress was hard Food was fantastic both the evening a la carte menue and the breakfast. Staff all lovely and very helpful definitely recommend and go there again. Joey the African grey parrot was certainly entertaining if rather noisy.
Had our wedding at the Pear Tree on Saturday it's it was the best day we could of imagined everything went perfectly and the food was incredible. Rochelle and Nicole where fantastic throughout the whole planning process and on the day and I don't know what I would have done without either of them! We can't thank you all enough! Mr and Mrs Prosser xx
We held our wedding here 24/09/2016. It was amazing and everyone commented how beautiful the place looked. The food was AMAZING and Chloe our wedding planner was absolutely fantastic, nothing was too much for her. The grounds here are beautiful for photographs.
I highly recommend this as a wedding venue.

I stay here often and the staff are always great and go the extra mile. The food in the restaurant is good, rooms however are very tired and are starting to look shabby and dirty. Not sure how long I will continue to stay here to be honest
