I brought my family here yesterday for lunch (mothers day) we arrived at 2pm for our 2:30 booking so we could have a drink first, we received a lovely welcome and were served quickly, the manageress (laura) told us that our table was free and ready for us to sit down if we liked, the menu was very reasonably pleased with a good offering, once ordered our food was delivered to our table by a young girl who's name i was informed was Stacy, all the food was piping hot and flavoursome, for 5 of us to eat and drink, it only cost £65, will definitely return soon, Thankyou to all the staff for making my mum's mothers day so wonderful
Visited today and was fantastic. Great Food and friendly staff. Highly recommend. People are so quick to leave a bad review but never think about leaving nice comments. All the staff worked really hard and couldn't fault the service. Well done guys keep up the hard work :)
Great pub with an amazing atmosphere. Love playing darts from here. The manager Laura and the rest of the staff are lovely and willing to go the extra mile to ensure everyone has a great time. I'd highly recommend the oak apple to my friends and family xxx

Thoroughly enjoyed our works Christmas meal. Great value for money, large portions and the staff were brilliant. Definitely recommend their Christmas menu.

So much more welcoming and food was great.
Can recommend the house salad with buffalo cauliflower wings, classic burger and chocolate fudge cake.
We had soft drinks.
Will definitely be going back again soon!

Arrived 7:45pm on a Wednesday.
Took a while to be served, only to find the Kitchen was closed - not the first time we have been and found this!
They agreed to provide dessert but our first 2 choices were not available.
Ended up with a Rocky Road Sunday where they had to substitute brownie for blood orange brownie. Also sticky toffee pudding which was very stodgy/pasty.
Will not bother trying to go for food again. Such a shame as used to enjoy going here regularly.
Lovely little pub just located on the roundabout by Spetchley and Whittington road. Been here twice now. Great for a general get together at a pub. Staff are friendly.
Nothing fancy, great for family or friend meetups for a drink and some food. Food was great especially the buttermilk chicken burger with cheese. Definitely stuffed after that order.
Wide range of drinks to choose from. Not bad prices either.
This was our first time going to the Oak Apple for food since the new owners took over and we were really impressed. The salad with BBQ cauliflower wings, was the best version of that dish I have ever had! My daughter also really enjoyed her classic burger and chips. The service was also great - the staff were really friendly and incredibly helpful! Great service and great food!
Came to the oak apple to Enjoy some good food with friends and was not disappointed, great service by Lauren and sim behind the bar and amazing presentation/taste on food. Definitely recommend :)
Booked for a family get together of 20 people. Staff were lovely and accommodating before the day and throughout the meal. Everything ran very smoothly and we all had a great time (mix of adults and kids - aged 3-8).
We'll definitely come again.
Love the Oak apple, this is my local pub and I go here all the time with my family and young dog. The staff are always on top form and the beers are lovely. I've eaten here many times and it's great value and great food. Would highly recommend!
Great pub. Has EV charging (Fast) points, which is why we ended up here.
Decided to grab a burger and chips, which was very nice.
Staff were lovely and friendly. The service was great. It was early lunchtime when we visited, so not very busy, which was lucky as it was a Bank Holiday!
My Wife & I stopped here on our way home from Manchester, mostly to use the EV charger nearby. We decided to have food, which did not disappoint. The owners had only taken over that day but that made no difference to the service which was excellent. I'll stop there again when charging & definitely use the pub whilst waiting.

Staff were friendly and the service was very good. This was a very conveniently located pub for a lunch with students who wanted good value pub food. Would go back. The chips were perfect.

It’s been a while since I’d been in the oak Apple but I have to say the food was good value for money and the service we got from Sim was very good, greeted us with a smile and had the banter to go with it. Will definitely be going there more.
Do not underestimate this place. It is not a random pub!!! Looks amazing, food is cheap and delicious, staff very friendly and had 5* service. They all made me feel special and gave me all the attention. Will definitely return 🥰
nice staff new management have turned this place around, busiest i have seen this pub in ages food has improved so much and it’s a pleasure to see what was a neglected pub turned into a family friendly bar
