Went back today and can confirm the new management team have made a real difference to the place.
So much more welcoming and food was great.
Can recommend the house salad with buffalo cauliflower wings, classic burger and chocolate fudge cake.
We had soft drinks.
Will definitely be going back again
Lovely little pub just located on the roundabout by Spetchley and Whittington road. Been here twice now. Great for a general get together at a pub. Staff are friendly.
Nothing fancy, great for family or friend meetups for a drink and some food. Food was great especially the buttermilk chicken burge

Booked for a family get together of 20 people. Staff were lovely and accommodating before the day and throughout the meal. Everything ran very smoothly and we all had a great time (mix of adults and kids - aged 3-8).
We'll definitely come again.
Love the Oak apple, this is my local pub and I go here all the time with my family and young dog. The staff are always on top form and the beers are lovely. I've eaten here many times and it's great value and great food. Would highly recommend!
Great pub. Has EV charging (Fast) points, which is why we ended up here.
Decided to grab a burger and chips, which was very nice.
Staff were lovely and friendly. The service was great. It was early lunchtime when we visited, so not very busy, which was lucky as it was a Bank Holiday!
My Wife & I stopped here on our way home from Manchester, mostly to use the EV charger nearby. We decided to have food, which did not disappoint. The owners had only taken over that day but that made no difference to the service which was excellent. I'll stop there again when charging & definitely

Staff were friendly and the service was very good. This was a very conveniently located pub for a lunch with students who wanted good value pub food. Would go back. The chips were perfect.

It’s been a while since I’d been in the oak Apple but I have to say the food was good value for money and the service we got from Sim was very good, greeted us with a smile and had the banter to go with it. Will definitely be going there more.
Do not underestimate this place. It is not a random pub!!! Looks amazing, food is cheap and delicious, staff very friendly and had 5* service. They all made me feel special and gave me all the attention. Will definitely return 🥰
nice staff new management have turned this place around, busiest i have seen this pub in ages food has improved so much and it’s a pleasure to see what was a neglected pub turned into a family friendly bar
