Great atmosphere, tasty food and a HUGE selection of gourmet scotch eggs (vegetarian options also available)! Family and dog friendly. Would highly recommend!
First time visiting with my mum and 6 month old baby a few weeks ago. Beautifully decorated venue with a lovely balance of old and new, suits the historic venue perfectly. Enjoyed our huge scones and tea (coffee wasn't great) but down to personal taste preferences.
Fabulous cake all home made and good size portions. Great service from all the staff. Comfortable areas to sit with a lovely atmosphere. Food menu offers a varied selection for even the fussy one's amongst us?!?! š To top it all off they have giant scotch eggs. š

Found this great little cafe when looking for the handmade scotch egg company. Food was fantastic, staff were lovely and friendly. Great variety of foods available and a great selection of cakes. Will definitely be going back again. Would highly recommended.
Hidden gem! A good range of lunch and cake options. Had an excellent smoked salmon salad, chocolate brownie and a generous pot of very good tea. Enthusiastic and attentive service too!

Lovely cafe, but what really stands out for me is the deli. So many well thought-out locally sourced items. It's all managed with such a surprising level of care and attention to detail. There was so much interesting stuff, that I left writing a shopping list for my next visit.

Most importantly the food and drink is amazing. If you have a sandwich or salad make sure you pay a little extra for the Nest Salad, you certainly won't go hungry.
Nice food and coffee. Pleasant staff. Set up to seem like an old school classroom with old style wooden school chairs so a bit hard on the bottom! Takes you back to 1960s. How did we sit on those all day?
