We shared a lovely meal here tonight, Bhuna, Balti, Dhal and naans, it was so delicious it's mindblowing the staff were all so friendly and the service was quick!
Five of us popped in here in desperate need of some warmth after walking around the Victorian Christmas Fayre. Although the place wasn't overly the warm the welcome was (cheesy but true! 🤣). A man who I took to be the owner made sure we were well attended to. I had the lamb stew which was delicious, someone else in our party had the all-day breakfast which looked amazing! As we were leaving they had cut two pieces of cake from the display on the counter and they were absolutely HUGE! Would definitely return and would 100% recommend! Apparently they are dog friendly too. 😊
Friendly, knowledgeable staff and delicious food. This was the tastiest curry I've had outside of India. Amazing flavours, just the right amount of heat. Please, please go and visit this place, you won't regret it!
What a find. Set in a lovely courtyard. Fantastic evening menu with lots of well priced curry dishes. Delicious food and great service. They need to update their marketing so more people can find thus place, help spread the word.
What a fantastic place with excellent food and service!! The manager was a lovely thoughtful and welcoming man to his Turkish cafe. We had an all day breakfast with 1 regular and 1 cafetiere coffee, both of which were amazing!! There was music playing in the background & we felt like we had been transported to another country. There were Turkish/Moroccan-style lamps, cushions & bags for sale, with absolutely no pressure to buy except for them being beautiful. Will definitely be going here again ❤
Very delicious dinner. Friendly staff. Great, chilled atmosphere. We were extremely satisfied with our food. We will definitely come back!
First time takeaway delivery follwing their leaflet drop.......Superb ! Very flavoursom food and excellent quality meat. We had the Himalyan Curry and a Pathia , all exceptional. Our new favourite !

Fabulous spot, had the daily special walnut,pear and Stilton salad absolutely delicious. Service was lovely and very friendly. Will go back to explore menu further particularly in evening.
Elgar's have always been good to myself and my mother and child. They are so attentive and the drinks are lovely. I would highly recommend this place.
Six of us had an excellent meal here. We had booked early and had to wait for the steamer to warm up to prepare our very tasty momo starters, but we were given complimentary poppodums while we waited. The main courses were all superb, slightly different to the standard "indian" fare due to the Nepalese influence. Wine was good value at £17 a bottle and the service was friendly and efficient. It was also very pleasant to sit outside in the atmospheric Reindeer courtyard.

Owner was fantastic, very accommodating offering to move us from direct sun light to shade after we’d been seated, ordered food and had a round of drinks.
Lovely coffee and cake shop we found and enjoyed ,polite staff that's why we gave a tip .
Will be going here again in the future ,nice coffee too.

Our first visit , we went on saturday afternoon and very impressed at service and food. Sat inside downstairs and was lovely atmosphere. Nice background music. Staff very friendly and efficient .My Chicken, cheddar & garlic butter panini was served with fresh dressed salad and was warm , succulent and very tasty. Hubby's 'Doorstep granary coronation chicken sandwich' really was a doorstep! Massive and plenty of filling. He also really enjoyed the bottled Turkish Elfes beer . My can of strongbow served nice and cold.
Very clean restaurant . Ladies toilet upstairs was clean.
Also got a large upstairs dining area.
Looking forwards to our next visit .
