Great canal side restaurant and bar, the food here was really nice and the portion size of the starters was excellent, set by the side of the canal the views and atmosphere here is really nice went down on a sunny afternoon and the setting was perfect will most definitely come here again for a pint.staff where friendly and helpful
Needed a dog friendly place for lunch, quick Google search and we thought The Anchor was worth a go. Was busy but we managed to get a table in the restaurant with the help of the friendly host.
Service was attentive but not overpowering, drinks brought quickly after ordering. Food service was just about right, not quick but not slow.
Thoroughly enjoyed the food, not cheap but reasonably priced for the quality.
Would be happy to visit again if in the area.
Love this pub ๐ it offers you everything, fabulous food, great atmosphere or just a drink outside watching the boats and tourist's with a drink!
We often have a crab sandwich here but with 4 of us fancying the sharing seafood platter we thought we would give it a go, it did not disappointment!

I came with a very good friend from work and had a great time in the beer garden ๐๐ป๐my food order was late (mix up /technology problems) but it was definitely worth the wait โ๐๐๐๐๐
Lovely views, food is lovely, just need more soft drink options. (ice tea was from a syrup) so easy to make this fresh! Most ppl now want healthy fresh drinks!
My first visit here and I loved it! My bavette steak was cooked just how I like it and my friend's fish & chips were thoroughly enjoyed by them. Perhaps a bit on the large size but delicious nevertheless! For dessert I had the apricot bread & butter pudding which was perfect. Can't wait to go again!!!
Had a fab breakfast here after a nice walk. Food was really good and the service was first class from Kirsty. She was super attentive and dealt with our somewhat fussy party with grace and humour.
This Pub & Kitchen can't be faulted. Lovely Team. Always made to feel very welcome. Great Chef & Kitchen Team. This place has become our favourite place to meet with friends and have a lovely leisurely lunch. Great choice of lager, quality Pinot Grigio.

On behalf of CMCA(UK), we would like to say a huge thank you to Team Anchor for hosting our Christmas party last Wednesday in the Boat House.
All of our staff were very complimentary of the food and the service that was provided to us. The decoration on the table and all the finishing touches were also greatly appreciated (like keeping the fire lit in minus temperatures!), thank you so much!
This is a pub well worth A visit.
The food menu is thorough with special deals during the week.
The beer, wine, cider, lager and spirit's on offer provide a wide choice.
There is an extensive seating ares outside too.
The toilets are well maintained and kept clean.
Customer service is first rate. The bar and restaurant is clean however it could do with re-painting.
We have family meal over all was good just alittle over priced we are in living crisis 9 quid for fish fingers sandwich bit high even for Worcester prices would been nice too if you had bit for kids to do ie colouring service was great apart from they was quite clearly was under staff and comes down to living crisis again your not got many staff on because pay and people who on are doing 3 people jobs just isnt fair put more staff on less time for people to wait but service was great because they doing more then they should
Delicious Sunday Lunch Meat beautifully cooked and a good selection of fresh vegetables. Generous portions without being ridiculous - we cleared the lot not because we were still hungry it was just too good to waste!
Absolutely incredible breakfast, been to all the main ones in Worcester like waylands yard, goodroots, and food and liquor. By far the food here at the anchor was far superior and very good value for the quality and portion sizes compared to the others. 100% will be back!
Friendly and very helpful staff. Harriet is lovely and has a heart of gold and got our dogs some squirty cream in ice cream pots as it was a hot day! I love the atmosphere. I donโt go to the pub very often but when I do I usually come here.
I'd there is 2 of you, just go for the shared steak! Generous in portion, beautifully presented and served by energetic staff. Youd be foolish to miss this meal out! X
Absolutely first class meal today! The attention to detail and communication before our visit was fantastic, with a bespoke meal being made for one of our party who is a vegetarian. We eat out on Christmas Day a lot, and weren't sure what to expect, as we'd never been to The Anchor before. We needn't have worried - we had the warmest of welcomes, the atmosphere was so friendly and relaxed, the service was second to none and the food was possibly the best we've ever experienced on Christmas Day. Great family run pub with superb food - we'll definitely be back.
A friendly Marina side pub serving good food and beer. I had a ribeye steak that was very tender. I also had 2 pints of Boon Doggle although didnโt finish the first pint as it was very cloudy being the last pint from the barrel. Would certainly return.
