The new owners have excelled themselves in every way. The inside and outside is now completely renovated which makes it very cosy and comfortable with a relaxed vibe; food is now served every day from 1200-2030 with a roast on Sundays.
The food is absolutely great; a pub menu that makes you want to
Nice looking place. Don't got very often only really once a month for a book club meet-up. Got plenty of seating inside and out. The prices are a bit overpriced for what they sell as nothing special.
We had our wedding meal and reception at the Kings Head and Matt the landlord could not have been more helpful and/attentive from the get go. We originally wanted to hire the Anchor @ diglis but the landlord there was so unresponsive and rude, meeting Matt at the kings head was a breath of fresh air
The place to be in summer, the beer garden is a sun trap, with beautiful views across the canal. Drinks are between £4 and £6 for draught and bottles that I've had, and the service is always spectacular.
I have not had the food yet, but the menu is standard pub grub and I've eyed up a few plates com
Had a lovely meal here last night with friends. The food was slightly delayed but when it arrived it was delicious 😋. Because of the delay regarding the food the manager compensated for it by providing 3 bottles of prosecco as an apology. Will definitely visit again Staff were friendly and helpful a
Great beer garden next to the canal and adjacent to The Commandery.
Choice of Lagers, including Peroni and Estrella. It has Thatchers on draft and old moat cider in bottles.
Ales were Wainwright Golden and Hobgoblin Ruby.
Friendly staff who work hard.
Looks nice and clean inside too.
Well worth
A nice pub with a good atmosphere and they offered a great non-alcoholic ale. Very friendly staff too!
Great menu.
As always I'd gone to Worcester for cricket and picked here for tea. Never tried it before but I'm glad I have now. Will definitely go again.
Surprisingly spacious bar with outdoor seating. Having Worcester as it's setting never hurts.
A great find for Bank Holiday. Superb food in an old pub, with excellent service. Dog friendly as well, use the courtyard entrance.
Lovely Bar and much bigger than it looks from the outside. A Beautiful little terrace at the back overlooking the canal and lock with a covered courtyard. The girl behind the bar was friendly and attentive and took the time to have a conversation with us.
