Popped in for lunch before graduation. Service was great, fast and friendly. Food was fantastic and the portion of mussels were huge!

Met my beautiful wife there for a late lunch, early dinner a few weeks ago. As usual the food was excellent, the service brilliant and the ambiance ticked all the boxes

Very nice place to eat and I would definitely come again. Had full English with eggs on toast (7.95 at the bottom) it looks good with interesting decor. Staff are mostly students but very professional and accommodating. Food quality is extremely good. Very hot and stays hot. I'm a gym guy and this filled me up well. My partner had a cheese burger with no burger. And she said it was totally awesome =) maybe a little cramped but I don't like small spaces and it was okay. Thank you very much for a great brunch

Great atmosphere and service. The menu is a mix of favourites with a few new additions. All of our main courses were great, but was disappointed with the brioche bread and butter pudding. It was delicious but the portion was miniscule especially for best part of £6. Needs to be sorted to bring the whole experience up to scratch.

Had a really lovely birthday meal here. For a chain restaurant, it has an unusually cosy feel to it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had steak and it was cooked beautifully. They had a great offer of £12.95 for two courses.

Courteous, attentive service (our waiter apologised that our food was taking a while as a large table of birthday guests was being served). Actually the service rate was fine! The food was really well cooked and presented and is good value for money.

Really good ambience, busy for 1pm on a Monday. Service a little bit slow due to being busy but, to be honest, not annoyingly so. Waiter very polite and nothing too much trouble. Took my 86 yr old father for his birthday and he loved it. We had the cheese afternoon tea with a glass of wine option and it was delicious. Croque monsieur sandwiches (6 quarters) a selection of cheeses, baked camembert, plenty of hand made crackers, grapes and baked figs. All well presented. Wine good and coffee excellent. Money well spent. Apologies for the long review but in this day and age of chain restaurant attitude of "take it or leave it" fast, impersonal service it was nice to just sit back and enjoy the whole experience.
