I was recommended this place by my nephew so we went to grab lunch! I had a focaccia filled with tuna, sweetcorn and cucumber. He had an omelette baguette. I also bought 5 pastéis de nata (Portuguese custard tarts) and the whole bill was very reasonable. Food was delicious! A great lunch spot.

If you looking for authentic Portuguese and South African food and delicacies, this is the place to go. From biltong to droewors, to pasteis de nata and all the sausages for cozido a potuguesa, they have it all and many more things. The embracing welcome from the owner, just makes you feel like you home. Hearing the south african accent you grew up with and friendliness it just makes it all so awesome. To top it all off they speak Portuguese then really makes you feel like you at Queens Street in Joburg at the local café. The food they serve is so tasty and all freshly made in front of you, all the beautiful smells of coffee and a good chat with the staff and owner just makes you want to return. Just pop by and have a good look around.

This is hands down my favourite portuguese cafe in London. A great place to get lunch during the day plus it also sells so many great portuguese and south african food and drink - i've found myself coming back many times to try the different goods they sell. If you are in the area and looking for a good lunch, recommend you try the pork sandwich here! If its Christmas time, definitely worth a trip to try the festive foods on offer.

A very friendly, reasonably priced cafe. They serve both English and Portuguese fare. The traditional Pastais de Ovo (Custard Tarts) are excellent , and the coffee is not bitter as in other cafes. The indoor seating area has been reduced to make room for freezers of Portuguese delights. Quite a few Portuguese customers.
