Driven past many times taking my daughter to and from university in Bath so finally decided to stop off and pay it a visit. It was a weekday late lunch so not very busy. Staff friendly and service quick. Food was what you might expect from a typical pub.
Haven't been here for quite a while and we were very impressed with the friendly atmosphere. The quality of the beer was very good too so we'll definitely make it a regular place for us from now on.

Nice little rural pub , food is excellent and a good choice of real ales . Very friendly staff and nothing was to much trouble for the bar staff , ordered drinks , set up a tab and paid at the end when we finished our meals . Highly recommended
