Best pub food I have ever had Would definitely recommend. Had to wait a long time for the food. But was well worth it. They did apologise and gave us free desert

We like to tour Herefordshire pubs for Sunday lunch during the winter months. We received a great welcome from the landlady and the pub was warm with a huge log fire burning in the bar area and a log burner in the dining room. Some really good local beers on tap and a lovely menu which was far more extensive than we we were expecting. The food was top quality and cooked to perfection. Puddings are a must , what a selection! And sumptuous.

We have never had a bad meal, they always have an interesting menu and specials board, and the staff are fantastic. If it wasn't so far away we would be there more often.

Spur of the moment decision to call in for lunch. Fabulous to see a country pub cooking seasonal dishes. We certainly weren’t disappointed. Pigeon breast & partridge next to a cosy logburner & Christmas tree. The staff were so friendly & accommodating. Looking forward to our next trip there.

The Butcher's Arms is the sort of place I want to be within 5 minutes (10 at a push) of my house. Wye Valley beers and quality hearty food in comfortable surroundings with the option of open log fires in the winter. It’s also worth mentioning that the menu is very reasonably priced with three courses for £24.50.

6 of us went for a meal last week here. Incredibly delicious food, large portion sizes and value for money, The team and the service they provide is second to none. Both the cleanliness of the place and the atmosphere is outstanding. We have all planned to makr a regular return

This is a lovely country pub and their portion sizes are incredible. The homemade lasagne was huge and delicious!! We were very happy that they do take away desserts otherwise they would have had to roll us out of the door. We will definitely be going here again.

Staff friendly and helpful. Warm night, good atmosphere. Food could have a bit more finesse and a lot less bulk. I had mussels which had gone just past their best, so slightly tough. Probably kept warm after cooking. My dinner companion had sea bass, again just past it's best, probably kept warm. Puddings straight from a freezer pack, disappointing.

Lovely old,low beamed pub/ restaurant in the middle of the countryside. The food was perfect and well presented. In fact it was so tempting that I forgot to take pictures til we were half way through our meal! 😆 We all had different meals, ox cheek ,venison, pie, burger and battered fish, all of which were excellent. The ox cheek just melted in the mouth. The desserts were scrumptious and of decent size and the price tag was reasonable. Definitely deserves a second visit!

We stopped to chance that their may be a table available and we were warmly welcomed. Plenty of outside table space with cute pods. Great variety on the menu and our meals were delicious. So pleased we can be back out dining out.

Top notch pub food. Big portions, sunday lunch comes with bowls of vegetables on the side. Fish and chips- the fish was as big as the plate!! Did not disappoint and we did not go home hungry. Lots of covered seating areas outside, well spaced out seating inside considering it is a very old little pub. The landlord and his staff are all very helpful. Definitely my go too pub.
