I was here during a weekend break with my parents and young son to visit family friends. A few of the adults were with me to have a few games of pool and finally be allowed back in a bar again (Covid times). It's a great layout and the pool area was fine, although the walls were a little tight for the pool ques 😂. The bar lady was very friendly and helpful as we had an issue with the pool table (a ball was playing hide and seek in the table) she sorted it for us very quickly. There we're no issues for us at all, we got a table quite easily and they had a table service option available by downloading an app, however we didn't use this app and just went to the bar. I'd be happy to visit Angel Inn again when return hopefully next year.

I visited 2 late afternoons, quite quiet but enjoyed by locals. Had real ale from hand pump, Marston's 61 deep. Never heard of it, a citrus taste which not keen on, but to their credit kept extremely well. Staff very polite and friendly.

A great pub with welcoming staff and dog friendly. The local regulars were also friendly. Good potions of food as well. Will visit again in the future.

Great Pub very welcoming. We tried the Burgers and could not believe the size for the price we paid . Also done one for our Dog . We recommend the Angel....pity I was driving I could have been happy sitting there all afternoon.

Hand sanitizer and code to sign in on the NHS app are in the lobby before you enter the pub. Look for an empty table or staff will direct you to one if the one you choose hasn't been disinfected after the last customer. Once you are seated they come to take your order, then bring it to your table. Tables are well spaced but allow couples or family to sit together. The pub feels like a safe environment.

Good place to go and have a boogie when the DJ "Disco Dave" is up. Drinks are reasonably priced, and it has a welcoming, fun, sort of atmosphere.
