My second time visiting today and I was not disappointed! Drove all the way from Gateshead to have a milkshake and a cake. Shame I went down the pot hole not far from the Milk Bar and ruined my wheel on the way home my milkshake definitely cheered me up! 100% visiting again, hopefully the council fix the pot holes by then

Wonderful place - small, but perfectly formed. We had ice cream the day before, then returned yesterday for an excellent breakfast. My son and I had the full Northumberland breakfast, while others settled for eggs and coffee. Everything was delicious and brought promptly, despite only two ladies working there and several other guests to attend to. We also bought some Doddington cheese to take home with us. Highly recommended!

Love this place!!! ...went to meet a friend but couldn't find where I thought I should be going, and thought to myself 'I'll go and ask the lovely people in the cafe on South Road'...turned out that the Milkbar was where I was looking for in the first place!!! Amazing icecream (honey! Mmmm!!!), milkshakes, smoothies (mixed berry a personal favourite), and a great food menu too! An absolute gem!!!

Very cutesy little place, perfect for a snack and a naughty treat. Highly recommend the rarebit made with Doddingtons own Admiral Collingwood cheese. Can't wait to try their ice creams sometime soon. Tracy was fabulous! Love to visit again

Lovely ice cream, good coffee, friendly staff. The cakes looked tempting too. It's quite small inside (seating for about 20) but there are a few tables in a little garden to the side and out front too. Great place to stop and "refuel" the family or in our case, get a reward for completing the excellent Wooler Wheel cycle sportive.

Been visiting the milk bar most weekends for the last 3 months. Always have an ice cream. I've loved every flavour but my most favourite is the liquorice. Very friendly and helpful staff too. My visit to wooler is not complete until a visit to doddingtons milk bar.

Oh my word what a great little find! Hubby and I stopped here for a brew whilst on gallery deliveries in the area. It’s right on the main road as you approach Wooller from the south. Just turn right then immediately left and there’s plenty of free parking too! It’s bigger inside than it looks and have several booths and a larger seating area for bigger groups/families. Happy smiling staff as you walk in too! Very nice welcome :) The ice cream selection all sounded great but I chose white chocolate with raspberry which was absolutely delicious! And my single scoop in a tub was actually a really good sized amount and I felt it was excellent value! Very very happy with that! I also had a tea (two cups from the pot - always nice!) and hubby had a latte, both really good and again, great value! They also had a range of cakes and bakes including quiche and savoury pasties - all of which looked great! There is also a large, very clean toilet with baby change facilities. There is a takeaway window down the side and outdoor benches too for those with muddy boots or dogs :) Keep up the good work guys! I have saved you to my favourites in Google maps and will be very happy to call again!

Good coffee available in large for once. Good chocolate brownie sundae which is big enough to comfortably share. Heavy on the cow theme but decent value. Lots of outdoor seating so great for us with muddy dogs.

Great find! Fabulous ice cream, Doddington's is far best the best ice cream in Northumberland! Staff were so helpful and attentive. Really chatty with my toddler. The decor is PERFECT! Highly RECOMMENDED! We will be back for sure.

Fabulous bacon and egg roll. Excellent quality bacon and thickly sliced too! Free range egg was gorgeous. Not greasy at all. Ice cream speaks for itself. It’s just lush! Despite being very busy every time I have visited (different times of the day), service was friendly and not rushed.

Stopped here on our way to Harthope Valley for an ice cream. Mmmmm, lovely. Planning our next hike now, just so we can stop here again. Pleased it was open as was closed, for the Kings coronation the last time we passed.

Great little cafe. Milk and ice cream from their own farm. Can’t get fresher than that! Default stop on my cycle ride.

A real gem for Wooler and definitely worth a visit regardless of whether you are staying in the town or just passing through. No matter whether you are there for something from their cafe home made food or just an ice-cream / milkshake, the staff are so friendly. As others have said, this is the place to visit for an amazing ice cream and shouldn't be missed.

Stopped off here for a quick ice cream, and returned again the next day for another. Absolutely delicious, ice cream just like it should be. If you are passing Wooler, make a point to stop and buy one, it won't disappoint.

Stopped twice for breakfast baps, couldn't fault them. Vanilla latte was excellent. We should have made more time to get an ice cream later on the day, but out and about!
