Had a great short break with our family in Woolacombe. Family room basic but a good size, clean,comfy beds & hot shower.
Staff really helpful & catered well for my husband who has to have a Gluten free diet.
Evening meal delicious & breakfast was good.

It looks a bit rough and old but do not let that put you off. The food is delicious, large portions and very clearly cooked fresh and not put in a microwave.

Very warm welcome by people who run the pub. Lovely carvery, with plenty of choice. Little soft play area also. Very dog friendly. Absolutely loved my staffie boy, and made so much fuss over him. Even gave him some carvery meat. Will definitely return, 💯 thanks guys.
Called in for a Sunday roast and couldn’t fault the carvery. Meats and veggies cooked to perfection and a good varied choice of veg. The buttered new potatoes were amazing. Lovely friendly staff too. Definitely worth a visit.
A superb find! Dog friendly (very very dog friendly!!), with great food and portions at realistic prices. Friendly and quick service and background music that's amazing 😂. Highly recommended if you're in the area.
The outside of the Fortescue Arms is a bit tired, but don't let this put you off, inside was great, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Our room was lovely and very clean. Breakfast was a full english and very tasty. Cereals were also offered, although we didn't have them.

Fabulous food, lovely beers and a friendly welcome. It may not look it from the outside but this is a fantastic place to stop for food and drink if you're near Woolacombe. Highly recommended!
We visited in a larger than normal family group for food...they made a table available for us all to sit around and the service was excellent and the food was amazing...all of the dishes were of good size and tasted amazing...thank you so much...definitely recommend

We stayed here whilst visiting family staying at Twitchen House Holiday Park, for which the hotel is very convenient. The rooms are very basic and tired-looking, breakfast was excellent and the hotel is reasonably priced.
Lovely food, steak cooked to perfection with some very lovely chips, very dog friendly and was all a very good price
Went for food and it was good but the menu was not the menu on there web site lots of choice on that one instead we had much less of a choice to choose from
