Nice warm friendly pub, food and staff amazing, dog friendly, well worth a visit
Spent two nights in b&b down the road from here and meal 1st night of ribeye for me and lamb shank for the Other half and can say it was the food and atmosphere was that good we book for following night where we both had belly of pork can highly recommend this for top notch food and friendly welcome 5*****+

Travelled quite a long way but journey definitely worth the effort. Nice little rustic pub just outside Wookey. We met the new owner who was so welcoming and friendly. Food was absolutely delicious. Couldn’t fault it. Will be back soon. Thanks for a lovely lunch 😄

I've never in my life had a better taste staff were amazing and friendly the chef well top marks for him he sure knows how to cook will definitely will be returning very soon.

Had the most delicious meal here last night. Warm Camembert with crusty bread n salad starter followed by belly pork cooked in cider with beautiful potatoes!!and vegetables and Andrew had lamb mousaka.OMG it was so good. Would recommend every1 to visit u!!! Thank u!

Went to this lovely country pub for a group lunch as we were meeting friends from the local area. Had a gorgeous lunch and it was very reasonably priced. Hosts were lovely people and couldn't do enough for us.
Nice pub. Dog friendly. Food was good. Good menu choices including steak and chicken. They played David Bowie which always gets my thumbs up
We stayed overnight in the carpark in our motorhome. The landlord couldn't have been any nicer! We will be back
Great little place with fabulous food, we we're made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived, and also asked to a wear a face mask at the bar when ordering drinks which we respected. It was very busy so I would recommend phoning ahead to reserve a table, the staff are extremely professional and very friendly.

Good service, attentive enough without being intrusive. Succulent ploughman's platter for 2 enjoyed by me and my better half washed down with an ale and g & t. Sat out in their gorgeous beer garden.

The food was absolutely incredible, I can't stop thinking about it! Great value too! Staff super attentive, nothing too much of an ask, even allowed us to use the carpark as a place to kip for the night in our van. Lovely pub in a great location with great views of the Mendips and surrounding area. Delicious traditional and excellent quality food (We chose a ploughman's lunch) which came at a good price and friendly service. Would thoroughly recommend
