An absolutely faultless Sunday roast beef with chicken livers to start. Service was attentive and friendly. All condiments offered quickly and extra gravy was brought without complaint. We shared a sticky toffee pud which was spot on. Price is actually not bad either. Could have done with a little m
We went unsure what to expect due to some right reviews. We are more than. Glad we went. The food was amazing. Did Sunday lunch. 3 course meal. Fantastic well presented and full of flavour. Staff didn't stop. Beautiful, amazing and a visit we will never forget
Visiting friends in Leicester, so four of us ate here. Great vibe, tasty food and good service. Not overly expensive. The curried mussels as a starter where one of the best I’ve had. The only negative was that there wasn’t many fish dishes on the menu.
We drove 55 minutes just to go to the ‘Pizza and Sax Night’ at The Pear Tree Inn as friends had recommended it. Staff were lovely, food was great! The guy playing saxophone was incredible and we really enjoyed it.
We ordered a Margherita pizza and a Nduja pizza - both brilliant and we had takeaway
We came here for a GCSE results celebration lunch and we were not disappointed. The weather was good so we ate in one of the outside areas. The menu looked varied and appealing. We had appetisers to share followed by a variety of mains including rump steak, pizza (from the outdoor wood-fired pizza o
My wife and I went for her birthday. The night was pizza and sax night. The sax player was good and played really well and wasn't over the top. Food was spot on. They tweaked the pizza menu a little somethings worked others didn't for us. However, the food was still outstanding and the puddings we r
Lovely location, it was a warm evening so we sat outside. They had a saxophone player who moved around the various areas. We ordered off the menu (not pizza side) and the food was very good. Plenty of staff about to get anything you wanted, a bit more expensive than I'd usually pay but it's in lin
Nice new outdoor seating and eating area. Staff very friendly but service a bit slow. Sunday roasts good but Yorkshire puddings were very burnt and inedible.
Discovered the Pear Tree by chance and visited on a Saturday lunch time; we chose from the fixed menu - food delicious and service good, would recommend! Only 4 stars as disappointed and bit put out by being given two menus then being told that the orders for the whole table had to come from only on
We have eaten here many times, both together, with friends and family and have never had a bad experience. We are extremely fortunate to have this amazing place on our doorstep, the food, the staff and the owners are all lovely and make you feel very welcomed.
We visited the place after 5 o'clock Sunday afternoon really nice weather a the kitchen was closed so better to check opening hours, it's really nice terrace though
Very clear the chef has meticulously designed the flavours and textures of each dish and it’s very impressive. Fabulous food, great atmosphere, decor, service and location. There are so many average, but still expensive gastropubs around but this one is well worth a visit.
Sunday pizza and sax is wonderful! The pizza is amazing and the drinks are great! And the live jazz is exceptional!
I went to the Pear Tree on a Friday evening with my partner, for food and a couple of drinks. We didn't have a reservation, but we managed to get a table without problem.
Place: from the outside you can already see that the place is gorgeous. They have an outside space that is beautiful and invitin
Excellent food. Went there without a reservation and tables available.
Starters, belly pork and salmon. Belly pork was lovely and tender with crunchy skin.
Main course, stone bass. Lovely thick piece of fish with fennel and potatoes. Extremely good flavours.
Pudding: plum pavlova. A perfect endin
