Our first time at this friendly, traditional pub in a beautiful setting (cash only, please note). We sat outside as evening fell and were treated to a visit from four badgers! Will definitely return.
We called in for a quick drink after seeing this pub on the map and being intrigued by the name. Very small and cosy with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and lots of quirky cat-related paraphernalia. No actual cats in sight on our visit, sadly. Like stepping back in time, in a good way. Definitely

Very lovely, small pub. Locals were all friendly and welcoming, as was the lovely woman behind the bar. They don't serve food (save a few sandwiches), and have limited drinks, but more than enough for a refreshing pit stop. Lovely garden with seats overlooking fields.

Finally went to the Cats, it's cash only and invariably when we've been past before we've had no cash, not today though. What a lovely pub in a delightful setting. We only had drinks but the beer was excellent and reasonably priced. It's a 2.5 mile walk from mine but well worth it, we'll be back!

A wonderful little pub in a beautiful, quiet spot. We stumbled upon the pub on a cycle ride and had a drink sitting on one of the garden tables under a gorgeous fir tree. What a gem of a place! Best pub I've been to in a long while.
