Stayed there as a last resort unfortunately did not try the food as we hit the beer festival on arrival the staff was brill the room was very clean and tidy will definitely say there again thanks
We did not stay so cannot comment on the rooms but if anything like the food and service they must be great. Myself and my family stopped in for a meal and I really enjoyed the food. We only stayed in the dinning room but the friendliness of the two people serving us was perfect and even accommodat
Nice looking, quiet place with few seats outside. Clean toilets.
Not long moved back to the area and decided to check out The Railway Inn instead of the usual clutch of establishments in the Village for Sunday dinner. A lovely warm welcome from the staff and great service. Sunday roast and a pudding, all served fresh hot and was delicious. If your looking for a
Great place, staff is unbelievable, really sweet and great. I had a wedding in an other hotel and they made sure I got there on time. Aldo kitchen was closed, they made something for me, never had this kind of service. Rachel is really great, she made my stay perfect.
Stopped off for refreshing drink while cycling The Water Rail Way following the River Witham.
We were the last to eat on a sunday evening. Despite this we were made to feel welcome and the food was cooked fresh, to a high standard and the roast beef was perfectly cooked with good sized portions and the puddings were home made. All in all a very enjoyable meal at a reasonable price
Lovely traditional pub downstairs with a lovely restaurant. Upstairs, comfortable, clean rooms with little extras!!! The food was beautiful and homemade!!!! The staff polite, helpful and friendly!!! Everything you could hope for!!! Will be back!!!
The staff are friendly the rooms are good and breakfast perfect!, We were staying due to a death within the family they even got us flowers to take! Only reason not for 5 star is because the bar was closes when not busy so there isn't really a set time
Went here with a party of 16 this morning all of whom had an all you can eat breakfast. The staff were fantastic and very helpful, they dealt with our high levels of gread in great fashion I and the rest of the party highly recommend.
This pub appears to have employed some kind of wizard as a chef. How do you make great tasting soup from sage leaves and almonds? Incredible and delicious
Value for money food, looked after us. Even done breakfast for us in the morning, and we wasn't even staying there overnight. Very helpful people.
Food was of a reasonable quality although we will try a lunch time meal and see how that goes. Good selection on the menu!
