Of all the local Toby carveries, this ones consistently good.
Roast pots are great good quality meat. Veg can be a bit too hard, and meat serving is getting a bit stingy, even when you go 'large'. Not your 'home roast' but if you cant be bothered to cook, worth a visit.
Never fails to deliver great carvery, meat was juicy, vegetables were plenty to pick from. Carvery lady was so pleasant even though it's so hot behind the counter. Waitress was so polite. We always full to the brim after coming here, free parking and good prices
By far, Woodford Carvery is the best we have visited, and we have been to a few. The service we received from George was amazing. He was very attentive, friendly, and funny. The food can be a bit hit or miss depending on the time you arrive but is normally good value and tasty
It was nice and quiet when we got here and we were able to choose our own table. The food was delicious, everything was well cooked. Service was quick and friendly.
Pre-booked, got in and seated early, waitress was quick in taking our drinks order and we queud to get our food in good time. Staff friendly, generally a good service all round. Glad to have it as my local carvery
As being regular visitors we have noticed changes and we observe that the quality of the meet has greatly improved . 6 months ago the beef it was inedible being thick with gristle. It was noted with great relief yesterday that there was hardly any gristle . Well done.
Our server Donna was great. Delivered our drinks, dessert and bill in record time. Food was great as usual. Donna also helped us to use a voucher we had to pay for our meal.
I am highly allergic to all dairy, egg yolk and some green veggies. The chef came and spoke to me pointing out what I couldn’t have and recommended what was safe for me. Absolutely delicious lunch including dessert.
The meal and service was great I have no issues with that.
The issue I did have was the gents toilet someone had trashed the toilet and it was in an appalling state I made a staff member aware of this straight away I visited the toilet again 20mins later and it was still in the same state this I was
