Had lunch here today. We talked about it at length in the car afterwards and have agreed it’s probably the best Sunday lunch we’ve ever had out. We all had the roast from the trolley, which was a lovely experience in itself. The roast potatoes and parsnip chips were fab, but the beef has redefined r
Just experienced the Sunday Roast. Exceptional. Carved from the trolley by the chef. Brilliant veg and gravy. Great service from passionate people so tip well. Too many places rolling out average sunday roasts but this one is the real deal. we will be back.
It's absolutely my favourite roast ever. Niall is a fantastic chef, and there's always a warm welcome from Trish and the guys front of house. I literally don't even bother cooking a roast anymore. It is also worth checking out a Thursday and Saturday night menu as well. I can't recommend this place
Just had the most epic Sunday lunch. Highly recommended! Got to try both meats on the trolley and the chef calved it off in front of our table. Extra gravy provided as standard and it's the best gravy I've ever tasted. Great portion sizes too!

Had the most amazing valentine's day meal at the Royal Oak. We started with mussels in a delicious creamy garlic sauce and then followed with the châteaubriand sharing board. The portion size is plenty and the quality of all the food is fab. The service from Trish, Niall and all of the bar team was
Amazing local pub. Beautiful cosy atmosphere. Awesome food, with owners and staff who really care about the quality of thier menu. Everything fresh and made on-site! Great staff, and fab chats with the locals! We will be back. I heard the Sunday roast is fantastic!
My wife and I dined here for my birthday on Friday evening and we had a great time. We had a Zoom meeting that evening which had us arriving at 8:30pm, 30 minutes before the kitchen was due to close. Regardless, the staff made us feel welcome and did not hurry us at all. They were friendly, helpf
