We had the best meal last night at The Boathouse, to celebrate a special birthday!

Brilliant views of the river Deben. The tapas dishes were full of flavour, but the star of the show is the frickle burger. the frickle is a deep fried pickle 🥒🥒 Boom.
An excellent find in a beautiful setting - modern industrial chic set against the harbour. There’s outdoor seating for pre- and post-meal drinks in good weather. No gluten free bread, but you can order any sandwich and ask for it to come with no bread and they give you Extra salad...we loved it and presentation was beautiful..
Recently visited The Boathouse Kitchen for lunch. On our previous visit the restaurant had been busy and had a much better atmosphere. This time it was much quieter and seemed to be missing something.

I went to the Boathouse today with my family and was so impressed with the food and the friendly atmosphere. My fish risotto (see pic) was so delicious and full of gorgeous flavour. I will definitely be returning.
Rare evening where we've managed to get a babysitter so came down to try the Xmas menu. Really good, nice atmosphere, friendly attentive staff. Cocktails were great and food was fantastic. Definitely on a par with the better Woodbridge restaurants. Hope they continue the full restaurant menu in the
