Very nice place to have a couple of quiet drinks while waiting for our train home. Very cozy and warm in the marquee. Had a couple of cocktails. Well worth a visit.

A really great atmospheric bar/ restaurant with great tasty food, beer, cocktails and deserts. The staff work very hard, very friendly and very tentative. They allow dogs and have a large marquee attached to the bar, so no issue when it rained. We ate Sunday and they had an awesome singer from 3pm-5pm

Road side pub/ restaurant, car park right next door. We had the cod and chips for lunch and were a little disappointed. The fish was overcooked with crunchy rather than crispy batter. The chips were not much better. Not to our personal taste. However, we returned later in the day and chose the beef burger. It's probably one of the best we have ever had. Staff were all very cheerful and added to our overall enjoyment.

Firstly I would like to thank the staff for their exceptional service and understanding with my friends dietary requirements. The food was amazing and the cocktails I could happily go through the menu. Once again thank you and we will be back soon!

Arrived on a beautiful day. In the Ipswich area for family reasons and came across this very nice eating establishment. Plenty of outside tables. Staff very prompt and an appealing menu. I am sure the locals are drawn to this venue, strongly recommended.

Lovely food and great service by helpful, informed and efficient staff. Best cheesy chips I've ever had! Local Calvors beer available.

Yummy food, polished off of a delicious plate of seafood linguine 😋

Arrived for lunch and was offered an indoor or ‘outdoor’ table - outdoor is in the side marquee. The marquee is warm as they have heaters, however, we were disappointed with the tables and seating. The table we sat at was worn, and had sharp edges - I was not able to sit too close as my top kept getting snagged - and the chairs were not too comfortable either. The neighbouring table was not much better. The atmosphere is nice though and the staff are friendly and helpful. Myself and my friend ordered buttermilk chicken burgers, and admittedly did not spot they did not come with fries - but this is mainly because at the price they were, we assumed they did - and the waiting staff did not double check - even though once the burgers arrived we were advised the menu had recently changed. Drinks here are what I would class as ‘standard’ and the food was nice - just might be time to invest in some better furnishings!

Popped into this bar with snacky type food in mind after arriving in the area on holiday, and certainly wasn't dissapointed - my dirty fries were delicious! a great selection of bigger meals and plenty of drinks to choose from, a proper gem and an essential eatery if visiting Woodbridge

Took advantage of the film and meal deal which was a really good deal especially as the sea trout that I chose was the best cooked and seasoned fish that I have had for a very long time. Highly recommended.
