We saw the National Theatre production of Vanya with Andrew Scott and it was brilliant. The cinema was very comfortable, all round great experience.

A lovely clean little cinema. It’s like a blast from the past - how single cinemas used to be before the big multi-screen brands took over. Friendly staff and also a restaurant with a very warm ambiance. A great night out.

This is such a fantastic independent theatre/cinema. The staff are brilliant, and the schedule is always hugely varied and full. We love coming here, and have been since I was a child. So pleased it's still in existence and the Company of Four panto is always a highlight! Keep up the brilliant work, Neil and team! 🤩

An amazing experience for family's looking for something to do in Woodbridge. The Riverside is an amazing venue to see the annual pantomime by the Company of Four and also see live National Theatre shows such as War Horse. The theatre/cinema is also very safe, especially through these times with distanced seats and hand gel throughout the building.

I really like this place it’s like a theatre rather than a cinema and an extremely comfortable where the staff are great just as they are over at the restaurant being a small cinema. You need to plan what you want to see but it’s worth it because they also have their fully licensed bar and some great snacks.

Excellent restaurant. Very friendly staff who seemed to know everyone. (We are not locals). Great service. The only possible complaint was that the wait between courses was a little long? But really that just gave us extra time to chat and enjoy our evening. Very interesting decor too. Well done, I was very impressed!

Such a nice lady now running the ice cream stand at The Riverside who is really friendly and gives great portion sizes. We had stopped going for a while because the guy who was running it last year gave extremely small portions which didn’t justify the above average prices. Definitely worth going now, especially before a nice summers afternoon walk along the river bank!

I thoroughly enjoyed the Hancock's Half Hour production on Monday, 30th October at The Riverside, Woodbridge. It was the nearest I will ever get to experience the brilliance of the Galton and Simpson original which had the legendary Tony Hancock, supported by Sid James, Kenneth Williams, Bill Kerr and Hattie Jacques in the best episodes. Full credit to the cast for playing extremely well the parts of the aforementioned legends, and all others concerned for an exceptionally entertaining evening.

5 stars because it represents excellent value for money. Very basic but who wants to be ripped off by the big chains with overpriced popcorn and drinks. A family of 4 can easily burn through £80 to £100 just to watch a film. This place provides simple family entertainment at a suitable price point.

Great little cinema in the heart of Woodbridge. Seats are comfortable, screen is big enough for the size of the cinema and sound quality is good. I felt like I was a million miles away from reality in there. Absolutely will be going back, next time for food first.

Worth the bit of a travel (not our most local) to go to a nice cinema🎥 We've been going here for years - as did our parents!

A great place to see a film. A grown up audience that doesn't check their phones, eat loudly or chat as if they were at home.
