A group of us visited here on Tuesday. It was a long time since I had been here and I wasn't disappointed. Some of us had starters and the nachos were lovely, they tasted light and delicious and homemade. I had the beef and ale suet pudding with new potatoes and veg for my main course. The pudding was a huge chunk cut from a larger one and was totally filled with lovely, tender steak. The veg were cooked to perfection - not hard and not soggy - and tasted fresh. It was impossible for me to finish the pudding as there was so much, so put it in a doggy box and took it home.
Thoroughly recommend The Wilford Bridge and look forward to returning in the near future.
Warmly welcomed on arrival. All the staff we met were efficient, helpful and friendly.
Tables were cleared quickly after the departure of customers we noticed, but we were not made to feel we had to rush to leave after eating our meal.
There was a good choice of menu. The food arrived promptly and was delicious. I was disappointed I couldn't fit in a dessert but thought the idea of a few mini desserts was a great idea.
Dogs are welcome in a certain area.
The roast dinners were two for the price of one, which made this a more affordable treat out.
Thank you for providing a relaxing and enjoyable evening.

A place that holds a very special place in our hearts that keeps bringing us back! Wonderful attentive and friendly staff, truly outstanding food and more than reasonable prices for the quality you get. Can’t recommend any of seafood dishes enough, they really do an amazing job with fresh local produce. Check the specials! 😋 Canine friendly and comfortable bar area 🐾
Came here for a Sunday roast while visiting some friends in Suffolk, the atmosphere and vibe of this pub is lovely and the staff are friendly. Spacious place while still having that homely feel of a good pub. We went for the ultimate roast, a mixed meat Sunday roast which was nice, the veggies were good but some of the meats were a little dry and could have done with more gravy so a bit of a let down as this is the core of a good roast but the desserts were delicious! The parfait is nice but not outstanding, the sticky toffee pudding and panacotta were big hits (though I don't have pictures of them unfortunately!) I did try them both and they were so good. I'd recommend both. Would come back just for dessert!
Had fish and chips for dinner here on a Saturday night. Food was excellent and the portions a very good size. Our waiter was very helpful and informed us when we ordered two portions of onion rings that the portion size was huge so we just ordered one. He was not wrong, we didn’t even get through the one portion! Excellent service and we can’t wait to go back again as we were disappointed we didn’t have room for desert.
Our dinner was lovely, we'd ordered our favourite skate wings ahead of our visit and they were delicious as well as a lovely starter of chilli prawns. Our lovely waitress. Jenna was friendly & helpful too. Would recommend 👌
Stopped here for a quick Saturday lunch. Wife wanted Ham, Egg & Chips and she received a lovely version of this with hand carved ham, beautiful eggs and great chips. I went for something slightly more exotic - Poke bowl with BBQ pulled pork. It was delicious. Worth stopping by if you are in the area.
We were staying in an Airbnb in Eyke just 5 minutes drive. We chose this pub to eat our evening meal in and I'm so pleased we did, the food was delicious, generous and reasonable.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
