Perfect family-run local restaurant. Great options for gluten-free and dairy-free clearly labelled on the main menu. Highly recommended. Everything was great, but the pork was amazing. A very warm welcome and somewhere I look forward to visiting again.
An absolutely fantastic meal and experience for me and my wife. The lobster with the Samphire sauce was excellently cooked and kudos to the waitress for suggesting the sauce, it tasted amazing. My wife had the lamb stew and said it was very tasty also.

Lovely food and atmosphere. The chef is clearly very passionate and it shows in the food. One vegan option so fairly limited but it was del ious so I was happy!
Absolutely fabulous on all counts the food was delicious and the staff were delightful we had the most wonderful evening, the owner took the time to come and welcome us a lovely touch all in all could not be bettered we will be going back soon!
This was our second visit ..we had steak with Bernese sauce with a selection of vegetables &chunky chips &it was delicious and with a glass of the best red wine I’ve ever tasted ..I’ll definitely go back again..the chef is so friendly &the service is amazing lovely atmosphere with some lovely chille

Very good very friendly amazing venue and food. Slightly understaffed perhaps but overall an excellent restaurant.
Very good food but expensive. We had to turn on a radiator nearby as it was cool at the allocated table. In danger of being pretentious (v expensive paintings for sale, v expensive wines...). No forced service charge which is good, however we did leave a tip as the serving staff were great.
If you want good food you must go to the right places. This is the right place!

Wow. I read great reviews, booked this place and by chance met the owner on the afternoon before our evening meal, a charming man. The meal was fantastic, great wine, friendly welcoming people and the service is outstanding. Go for it and enjoy, worth every penny,😎
