Chicken Sarma Beyti is very delicious. A must try.
The staff is friendly.
only downside i would say is little expensive but with the quality they provide it goes well.
Fantastic service and the food was absolutely lush! I had the Princess Chicken which was absolutely divine 😩 Affordable and also very easy to locate 👌🏽 will be visiting here again soon!
The best la lambchops in the Woodgreen area and the best I taste it in London!
Well done, chefs !
Plenty to choose from, sea food, lamb, chicken beef, house special etc...
Best lean meat doner ever! I like the way it is not salted much. And portions are big.Service is pretty good too. And they serve delicious tea and complimentary desert! Loved it!
Had anniversary dinner here since this is my husband’s favourite Turkish place !! He has been here many times with his friends back in his university life and was excited to take me there for the first time since we both love Turkish food. The ambiance and staff were all right !! But according to my husband they have reduced the quality of the food per platter and that was a big disappointment for him !! And I can honestly say that I have had better tasting Turkish food in last 2 years. To me the food was kind of bland in taste … even the sea food platter, I am still willing to give them a 4 star hoping they will look into these things !! Overall had a nice time with friends !!
Further to my previous review, we went over there again because of my husband !! This time food was really delicious but SO EXPENSIVE!! I guess prices went up with quality!! Only one bathroom for each gender and it smelled really bad in there ! Not worth so much service charge!
Had a great meal here. Attentive staff and tasty food. Excellent value for money. Plentiful complimentary starters.
Price per head includes a bottle of wine and sparkling water.
8/10 would recommend.
Dined there a few times. The food is great and the atmosphere is nice. Good value for money. Enjoyed it every time. Service is impeccable.
You can never really go wrong with Turkish food.
This place has a large 2 floor dinning room, making it easy to just walk in and get a table immediately.
Staff is good even though through my experience they are a bit in the slow side of service.
Coming down to the important part of this review, Capital, as a Turkish restaurant, offers for free once you sit down the typical Pitta bread and some dips to get your appetite going. There is a wide selection of food choices in the menu and all of then have something to offer.
Definitely get the halloumi as an appetizer. The sauce that comes accompanied with the fried cheese is sweet and slightly spicy, giving it a very interesting taste profile.
I personally got the mixed skewers which came with one chicken, one lamb skewer and instead of rice, with £1 extra I added some chips. Overall the dish was good although a bit dry and underseasoned for me expectations.
Also, trying the rice from my friend's dishes really lacked salt and that was the theme throughout the main dishes in general.
Prices for the food offered are a bit higher for my liking, but the quality is still good enough to justify it.
Overall, good food, nice atmosphere and decent staff.
Best Turkish restaurant I have visited in London by far. Amazing food at great prices compared to other similar establishments. Plenty of seating across three floors. Recommend their platters for a big group. The red chili sauce is sharp and punchy, so good we had to ask for three refills! Complementary Turkish tea and baklava at the end of the meal.
Great food, you can sit outside, and eat, drink, and smoke. Toilets nice and clean. The only thing that was confusing is when you are outside, you do not know if you have to go inside to order. This te we had to go inside to order. A couple of weeks ago it was thr other way round with a waiter cing out to you. That is it, and that's not really that bad. This restaurant is well worth a visit.
Menu is decent and food is not too pricey.
Complementary salad and cream, hummus and amazing bread.
The food doesn’t not take too long to come in after order and portions are good.
Only let down was the rice with the dish, which was served without any sauce.
Complementary tea after our meal as well.
Staff is friendly as well. Good experience
The best Turkish I have found in Wood Green. Lamb chops are the best I have ever tasted. Order the House special which is enough for two to three people. Salad, dips and Turkish bread to start whilevyour main is cooking. Pomegranate dressing on the salad is to die for.
The Turkish breakfast sharer is a must. The food tastes amazing, very well presented. The service is great and the food arrived shortly after we ordered.
Highly recommended
We visited Capital restaurant in Wood Green on a busy Saturday evening, we were approximately 10 mins before we were seated. We didn’t have to wait long for our order to be taken.
The starters arrived very quickly which was followed swiftly by our main course.
The service was good and the food was a decent, price was reasonable.
My family tries to make the effort to visit this restaurant even though it takes us a little over an hour to travel but completely worth it. Minutes walk from the station and great spot by the shops. Tried chicken pasta with permesan cheese and it was absolutely delicious also, had other dishes which was very nice. Service was good at! Overall 9.5/10
We ordered House Special meal set was definitely enough for three to four people. Meal wraps with chickpea sauce are really delicious. The most important of course is that I can dine with my two puppies🐶🐶
Affordable, amazing warm unlimited bread, unlimited salad complimentary including chai and baklava... overall amazing and very good on price too 😍
Brilliant Turkish restaurant in a prime location on Woodgreen High Street, that's always served tasty food cooked to perfection.
The restaurant offers plenty of indoor & outdoor seating areas.
Today I opted for a Lahmacun with Chicken Donner, Salad, Chips + Chill & Garlic sauce.. which refilled my gas tank and sent me on my way to another great day!
Customer service was brilliant 👏🏼
5* Would recommend on overall experience 👍🏼
Got invited to this restaurant during my stay in London, would definitely recommend. I had the chicken döner with coucous, it was delicious, specially the coucous. We tried a lot of sauces, salads, and hummus, everything was amazing. As dessert I had some kind of wet turkish biscuit, delicious.
Nice food, big portion and a little bit cheeper than the restaurants from the area.
Very clean restaurant, beautiful decor, elegant and not tacky.
friendly staff and quick service offered by them.
For 2 people we paid under £40 mains and drinks.
Lovely staff! We came here for a birthday and the staff were extremely accommodating. They brought the cake out and all sang happy birthday to the guest of honour. It was very sweet.
Oh, and the food was phenomenal. I will be going back for more.
