Called in for Sunday lunch. Choice of roast beef. Turkey or pork. £14.95 for one course. We were seated in the conservatory area. Which was uncomfortably warm. Vegetables were turnip. Peas. Carrots and white cabbage. The beef was tasty. As were the carrots. We had dessert. I had jam roly poly. W
First time visit, popped in on impulse for a quick Sunday meal. The reviews caught our eye and luckily they managed to squeeze us in between bookings. I've visited here before and loved the food, visited again for the mothers days set menu and have to say was a little bit let down by the food the pork dinner was just a little lackluster.
Best I can say everything was warm and there was plenty of food but the main did seem re-warmed.

Lovely pub with great atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. Ordered liver and onions. Liver and onions and gravy perfect. Came with tasty mash overcooked carrots and frozen (watery) peas and green beans (inedible). BTW my friend ordered sizzler in black bean sauce. The sizzler in sweet Chile sauc
