Beautiful pub inside and out. Very friendly people behind the bar.
Cobs are amazing and only £3.50 each. They also do pork pies £2.25 each and sausage rolls £1.80 each.
We had a Cheese and onion, a Cheese onion and black pudding, a Ham and tomato and a Ham salad.
Great range of real ales. Would definitely recommend a visit.
Black Country Ales have done it again. Renovate a sad, rundown, lifeless Marstons house and turn it into a must go place for beleaguered locals and the curious from surrounding localities. The renovations are stunning, locally sourced food is wonderfully fresh and well presented. There's an incredible choice of fine real ales & ciders to satisfy the pallet all served by meticulous management and well trained staff. Add on that families with young children are made very welcome & dog lovers can visit with their pets, fabulous.
BCA really do take so much care when setting out their stall, wherever they open another outlet they do their homework, they understand people and communities and richly deserve the rapid growing support they are receiving.
If you haven't paid a visit to the 'Old Bush' as yet, what are you waiting for?
Excellent since Black Country Ales took over. Lot's of ales all kept expertly, changed regularly. Staff are really good as well. Only sell cobs and pork pies which is a breath of fresh air there's to many mealy pub's selling the same food.
Beer drinkers pub with 10 Real Ale's & two Ciders on draught.Plus great big Cobs 😄
Good local family-friendly pub, popped in for a Friday night after work drink, good atmosphere, massive cobs !
Since its rebirth as a Black Country Ales pub the Old Bush is now the top pub in Wombourne. An ever changing selection of ales and ciders offering a wide variety of stiles, a good range of spirits and bottled beers will please every taste. And if you’re feeling hungry they have cheese nights on a Tuesday and serve enormous cobs filled with all of the usual fillings.
A must if you are in the area 😁😁🍺🍺
This is definitely the pub to visit if you fancy a decent beer and a cob. The cobs are the biggest cobs I’ve seen, they’re not just a light bar snack. They also have a selection of sausage rolls and do pork pies.
They have a great selection of beers, including lagers and ales and ciders. Judging from their Facebook page they often change what beers they have on tap, so there’s always something new to try.
The pub is nice and cosy inside and dog friendly. Great atmosphere and people are friendly.
They also have outside seating with plenty of benches for a sunny day.
Probably my fave local since it’s been updated.
Refurb is lovely certainly a lot nicer than it used to be but it's still a traditional pub.
Great selection of beers . Cobs are lovely and enormous,as they were served wrapped several of our group took some home to finish later 😂 Pork pies and sausage rolls are good too. There were several well behaved dogs in when I visited so obviously dog friendly. They allow well behaved children in till 7pm which seems fair enough to me .
Only downside is not much car parking but unfortunately don't suppose they can do much about that .
Black Country Ales have done a magnificent job here, this is a great pub with a great atmosphere and a good selection of beers 🍻
First visit to the newly refurbished pub. Very nice decor. Good service from the new staff, and as other Black Country Ales pubs a good choice of beers. Only food we're bar snacks, cobs, hot pork pies, and sausage rolls. Cobs were very large with various fillings. Will be making this one of a regular pubs.
