My 3rd large mixed grill at the round oak... consistently large and very nice. My family chose burgers but not the canal buster burger because you need special training to eat it all it's so big! Recently refurbished and has a nice cosy feel to the place. My only niggle is how long it takes to open enough sachets of vinegar, English mustard and sauce to compliment my meal. Mustard in a small pot and a vinegar bottle on the table would be better IMO....most enjoyable and we'll worth a visit!☺

We walked out of another pub down the road yesterday after been told they could cater for vegetarians and clearly didn't so we dropped in on the off chance of a table and we were found one The food was fantastic and very well priced nice to have a choice when your vegetarian ! We had a little wait but it was understandable on a extremely busy Sunday, staff were great too ! Thank you .

A brilliant ambience to sit and eat lunch. Food was spot on couldn't have been any better. Cajun chicken with peppers and citrus mayo, served with nachos and salad. I opted for the jacket potato option.

We held our reception for our daughters christening here last Sunday, we had the bronze package buffet which was absolutely beautiful. So many comments from guests to say how lovely it all was. Thanks for making it special for us

Stopped off for a drink with children, great park, lovely lighting. Nice barman called James. We did not eat here so cannot comment on the menu. It seems to be a young crowd that is attracted to here, but the park is so great I would come again with the family.

Great location by the canal, we visited on Friday night for a meal for two. The server seemed very busy but was helpful and friendly and offered table service to us. The pub was busy and quite loud but had a good atmosphere. Good came out quickly, portions were reasonable. The chili was very hot with a jalapeno sting to it. I'd recommend the beef stroganoff. We shared the cheesecake, not the largest portion but very good. Overall we'd go back again.

Superb. The homemade lasagne was brilliant. Guest ales very good too. The whole rear area has been marqueed and has great music playing quietly in the background. Planned on going for an hour or so, ended up staying for over 3 hours. Smashing pub.

It is a nice pub in a nice setting right by the canal. We ate inside in the dog friendly area and while nice it was right in a high traffic area next to the toilet so puppy was hard to settle but we managed. The food was tasty and great value for money. Halloumi to start with a very sweet and tangy dip, fish and chips followed and it was a generous portion with a light tasty batter with meaty fish. Good pub, will visit again.

Another superb refurb that is in a class of it's own. It's an amazing place, amazing staff and amazing food. Best thing for us is they allow dogs and they are warmly welcomed every time. Thoroughly recommend whether a regular visit, book your party or events they hold. A+++

Couldn't think of anywhere to go for a change this particular Sunday, and decided to venture out to Wombourne and have a look around. We ended up at the Roundoak pub close to Pool hall farm estate, and what a good choice it was...Fantastic food, excellent value for money and being looked after by a lovely member of staff "Taylor" added to a most enjoyable Sunday afternoon. If you decide to visit on a Sunday you must try the Carvery Baps with Seasoned fries and salad, and gravy, couldn't believe the price at under £7 for a meal that I was just about able to finish. Thank you again Roundoak for a lovely experience. Kind Regards Rob & Wendy. X
