I've only ever been here for drinks, but last night me and my partner and I came for food, and I can certainly see why you're always so busy. The food was outstanding! The food menu is very large, and you're the only establishment I've ever visited, which offers a doggy menu, and it's awesome. We had the breaded mushrooms and filo king prawns for starters and 12oz gammon and hunters chicken for mains. Best meals I've ever eaten in a pub, and I can safely say you have gained 2 new regulars because we will definitely be coming back. The whole experience from the moment we walked in, to the second we left, was amazing. Thank you

Always have excellent service, even when the pub is full. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Food is delicious and there is an extensive choice on the menu. The pub is always spotlessly clean and very welcoming.

A traditional rustic pub, interior decor in need of a bit of a makeover. That said if you want quality service and food, this is for you. We went for Sunday lunch and it didn't disappoint. Table service, a set menu of traditional roast dinner on Sunday. You have a choice of 3 plate sizes and have to tell the waitress what you don't want serving otherwise you get every vegetable being cooked that day. We opted for the Medium size plate, see photo. You can opt for a single, two or three course meal. We opted for the two course, with choice of sweet, see photos. The meal was hot, tasty and well presented. What you cannot see from the photo is two good portions of turkey and two slices of gammon obscured by the vegetables. Other choices of meat were available beef, lamb and pork. Unlike many carveries there was ample gravy supplied. Top notch food and staff. As I have said in the past never judge a pub by its decor. UPDATE: Went for a Sunday Turkey Carvery, some things never change and we were glad they hadn't, fantastic food, served hot, wonderful staff, great prices, whats not to like.

The very best pint of Guinness I have had anywhere in the west midlands. Extra cold and tasted so fresh. Clearly a great pint. The lady who served me at the bar is. Credit to this place she was superb and excellent customer service. I can not wait to come back and try the food. Super place with excellent service and great pints.

Good, reasonably priced pub food with proper homemade chips! Good service and friendly atmosphere. They even do a doggy menu with a few choices for a few quid each....Dylan was very happy with his cod and mash!

Top place and a proper old school hostelry. I can recommend the omelette, bacon cheese and mushroom, best pub omelette I've had. It's probably best to make a booking, but they graciously fit Katie and I in. Fabulous and well worth a visit. Xxx

Good friendly pub. Great staff and best Sunday lunch. Great Sunday lunch like your mum used to cook and real good value for money. All good local produce and wonderfully cooked.

Haven’t been to the Dog and Partridge for several years and was so pleased to see a few improvements. A new larger bar welcomes you as you enter the pub, we were struggling to find a table to eat - we should have booked but Glenn (landlord with his wife) instantly found us a table. The atmosphere, beer and food were all amazing here. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, we will definitely make this our new local and favourite for food. Well done Glenn and the team!

Amazing food and service. First time visiting but definitely won't be the last. Next time we will make sure we book as it gets really busy. Excellent menu and really reasonably priced, with good sized portions.
