Family meal. I'm vegetarian and they were very helpful. Food was lovely. Service good. Meals reasonably priced. Would recommend.

An early Saturday night meal with friends, lovely cool glass or two of Sauvignon Blanc, my main meal off the specials board ... Chicken with Stilton and Mushroom, chips and salad was delicious and my pudding, another special at £2, the Raspberry mousse was fantastic. All in all great value, great food and brilliant staff ... thank you 😊

WV1 Scooter club had our Thursday night ride out to the Crown this week and we would like to thank the staff for there welcome.

Lovely pub, very cosy. Has a similar feel to Miller and Carter (I know they are both M&B chain restaurants). The food was all very well cooked and presented.
I love this pub. The food is beautiful (and beautifully presented to boot), the food choices are excellent for meat eaters and veggies alike, the decor is tasteful and elegant and the prices aren’t extortionate.
I do find the service a little overzealous, being asked if the food is okay or if we need more drinks every five minutes. This can be a little frustrating, but I understand it comes from a good place.
Excellent food experience. Despite arriving without booking I got a nice table to enjoy meat and seafood. Gooood service. Thank you.
Five of us ate here on a Sunday afternoon.
The menu was varied which included a traditional roast dinner as well as pasta & burgers etc.
The staff looked after us & the place was quite full, creating a nice atmosphere.
I like that they have a smart casual dress code too.
I haven't been here for some years, but shall be going back.
I had a really enjoyable night on the weekend whilst attending the white party. Everyone looked amazing & the staff were super friendly all throughout. Big mention to Liz the manager who made sure we were looked after all night & to Jess who helped with the cocktails. Can’t wait for the next event it was fun!

I had my birthday celebrations at the Crown and must say The service was great! Brad is absolutely amazing. He looked after us really well. Everything was very well organised. I didn’t have to worry about anything. My friends and relatives enjoyed the food as it was delicious.
Our server ( we think was the restaurant manager) was superb!

As soon as you walk into the restaurant it was very busy and made for a wonderful atmosphere as well as showing signs of a well loved pub. We went for my friends birthday and i ordered the rotisserie chicken which was delicious. Our sever Helaina was exceptional! She was so attentive and friendly and we all said how professional she was from start to finish. She also made a special effort to add a ‘Happy Birthday’ massage to my friends dessert which was a really lovely touch to celebrate her evening! Thank you so much, will definitely be returning soon.

Dropped in here by chance during a journey, hadn't booked but were shown a warm welcome and given a table. What a great discovery. Fantastic food and a lovely place. I now have it pinned a a favourite on Google maps for the next time we're passing. Superb choice of food at a very good price and all enjoyed in a comfortable venue. Try the roast pork, delicious.
Me and my boyfriend had heard a lot about it and wanted to give the food a try as it’s a lovely atmosphere and not to far from home the food was delicious and fresh and not to long a wait coming out piping hot the truffle sauce with the rotisserie half chicken was absolutely phenomenal we will definatly be back!
I visited with two friends. We all chose the Sea Bass which was delicious. We were served by Jess who was attentive and friendly. She was also very knowledgeable about the menu when I asked questions about ingredients.

Had a lovely evening with friends. Dined from the festive menu, which had a varied choice. All three courses were delicious and beautifully presented. Would highly recommend.
We have not been here for some time but can honestly say I saw a huge difference in the atmosphere and the overwhelming friendly welcome! We were made to feel very welcomed and relaxed by Brad, nothing was too much trouble, he was very professional and his hospitality skills shine! definitely made a difference to my experience :-) will definitely be returning more regularly! A really lovely dinner! Excellent service and amazing food! The lady at front of house who we assume is the manager, was really welcoming, friendly, and very efficient, the staff who served us in the restaurant were excellent, and the food was really good, a lovely bottle of Amerone with dinner, all in all, a lovely evening
