Please read all sections of this review: Part of the Greene King chain of pubs. Ample parking, the tables well spaced, staff very helpful and attentive. Standard pub type food. My Steak and Kidney pie was a little dry inside. A pot of gravy was supplied with meal. My friend's Chicken and Mushroom p
Pleasant pub. Friendly, obliging service. Tables nice & clean as was front of house appearance. Only disappointment was the fact there were no chicken strips available, which seem to feature in a few of the dishes on the menu, which some of our party chose. However an effort was made to substitute t
We had a great Saturday night, the food was excellent, drinks were plentiful and all very reasonably priced. Topped off by a great performance from The Lemuns, playing for almost 3 hours . All within easy walking distance, what's not to like!
Nice menu that contains varied dishes at reasonable cost. Wheelchair access is good with entrance all on one level. Friendly staff and booking not essential but best if larger group. Toilets are spotless too.
Staff very friendly, prices very competitive, deals for seniors Mon - Fri up til 5pm & two classic meals for £10.99 (all day every day) with amazing choices. Can highly recommend a visit. Me and my husband had Hunters Chicken, absolutely delicious.
No frills, you know what your getting, good honest food at a great price. Its still far cheaper than all other pubs, In fact its cheaper to sit in comfort than any of the 11 local chip shops and cafes. Great staff and management, just let down by GK hierarchy that brush you aside. One of the few GK

We had a nice meal here which was great value for money and excellently cooked and presented. The pub was spacious which gave us some privacy when eating and the staff brought items over to our table when requested
Lovely to see it back open, the pub has had more TV's installed instead of the "big screen" so you can pretty much see a game from wherever you are inside. The outside has been tidied up with new seating too.
food is amazing value, staff are friendly and service great, fast and efficient, eaten here 4 times now and happy every time
Really like this place. The staff are generally friendly and the food really good. It is a great place for you to come and have a pint with your mates or enjoy an evening meal for two!😁
The first time we visited last night, despite living locally for about ten years—we ordered food using the Greene King app for two adults and three children. Ordering was easy. Food took a little longer than expected (not an excessive amount of time). It was very busy for a Wednesday night, though -
