I did eat there a couple of times during lock down and they are taking nice Corona precautions. However I just ate the 8oz rump steak and it was OK but a bit too well done for medium rare. Will ask for rare next time.

Loveley place, lovely food, lovely people only issue was there was a lot of flies inside an this has seemed to be the case every time we have visited its not very good fighting flies for your food lol

After meny years I revisit the Pigot arms back in the day me and my mates used to go there on a Saturday night when they had discos the place still looks very nice had fish and chips there it was really nice well presented the one bar staff I got talking to was friendly I told her I came here years
Iv had 3 lovely Sunday lunches here now. Food is lovely, great size portions, chef even comes out of the kitchen with extra roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings. Lovely atmosphere, traditional interior. New bar staff are lovely and friendly. I Would recommend.
Popped in for a drink at lunchtime on a weekday, the staff were very welcoming.
Its a large pub but cosy at the same time.

Had lunch recently lovely food especially the vegan tart in beetroot pastry which was fabulous. Really nice lady working very hard in the restaurant although when we arrived the man standing behind the bar didn't acknowledge us which wasn't very welcoming other than that it was great.
