Been tonight and had the best food ever since weβve been coming to the pilot.
Absolutely fantastic Halloween party at the pilot ππ»π§ fantastic atmosphere, so welcoming to families, children and grown ups both had an excellent time. Can't wait to celebrate Christmas here too ππ§βππ
Tasty meal and reasonable price for food, didn't have to wait too long for food to arrive. Staff friendly and pretty good atmosphere. Would definitely come back again.
Took the Wife for a meal quick and friendly service as always. Great food and people.

1st October 2021-Pendeford village:
A local had recommended this pub so decided to go and have a look, looked okay from the outside so I popped in for something to eat at lunchtime
What a welcoming atmosphere, staff were very friendly. It was nicely decorated on the inside, very fresh and clean and there was a good selection of drinks..my Doombar was on the tap so a pint or two of this was beckoning. I looked at the menu and ordered their Classic Double Beef Burger with chips and it soon arrived at my outdoors covered seating area, wow...what quick service!
I was pleasantly surprised with my burger, the lettuce and tomato were very fresh and I liked the thinly sliced raw onions with it too....my beef patties were perfectly cooked and the brioche burger bun was great, loved my Classic Double Beef burger and absolutely delicious!!
My Doombar was perfectly chilled and well kept and I enjoyed my second pint watching the warm 1st of October autumn sunny sky very much indeed...

Mixed grill with sweet potato chips, less than Β£8. Sausage, chicken gammon, rump steak, onion rings & egg on a bed of fried onions.perfectly cooked tender meats on a sizzling skillet

Me and my family had a great time at the pilot, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The best value money pub around. Food was excellent couldnβt fault nothing. Pub was clean and itβs also nice when the toilets are clean and get checked on regularly π
